i would guess if you don't have a bug problem.they would get hungry and split unless it's cold outside and you are inside.it started getting cold out here.and i got infested with hundreds of lady bugs.now it would of been great if my lamps were inclosed and my drip trays tighter.so i had hundreds of roasted and drowned lady bugs to clean up.the pots were a bitch cause they were black like my soil.i still got a few smart ones left though.i never would of thought they could be a problem.but after 4 hours of cleaning up after them,i know better now.good luck with all your lady's.

This thread has alot of hilarious posts. Thank you to those of you that made me laugh. fdd2blk thank you for starting this awesome thread. I think I will also pick up some lady bugs for my garden but how do you determine how many you need? I dont really want an infestation.
mine all flew away within a day, you're gonna need a lot.
pirates bugs are the ones to get. they have kept the mites away for 4 years now.
