best auto yield ?

Im looking to start 20 auto plants under 3 x 400 watt hps

is there a recommended auto seed for maximum yield

and is there any good grows for autos on the forum

Growing 20 plants under 3 400 watters is not going to maximize your yeild.

I would suggest growing 4 auto's under each 400 w lamp to get the maximum out of each plant.

do you think a extra 3 x 250w Cfl bulbs would help me achieve the correct light needed to get the 20 plants.

I totally agree with The2TimEr. No point in setting your mind on squeezing in 20 plants, it might be your downfall. Here is a scenario for u. Imagine you start with 20 plants and at first it looks like they will all fit. Then half way through the grow you realize that its getting way too overcrowded and so you must remove, oh lets just say 8plants. The other 12 plants will have suffered as a result of the overcrowding, with lack of light penatration, airflow and too high humidy maybe - So those 12 plants could have been grown in more ideal spacious conditions and will yeild more in the end. Hope that makes any sense.
I fit 4 autos under a 400w in a floor space of 1m squared, I could maybe see 6 autos fitting in there but it would get crowded with 6. You could choose maybe 2 or 3 gall containers but I would recommend 3gallons if you want to push yeild.
