There's my 7lb of cow gettin all sexy for a few days before I smoke her then roast her.

Made my jus yesterday so that's outta the way. Gonna make some Yorkshire puddings and broccoli casserole and mashers with that bitch.

I'll keep ya updated, gary, lookin forward to your caveman dinner too.

How about tossing out that Yorkie recipe.
I'm still looking for one that works for us.

It's on fellas. Picked up a 10 lb beef slab (eye of round I think or maybe a rib roast) Mr. H is in charge of that. We're making Yorkshire also.

roasted brussels/panchetta
corn pudding
twice baked yukon golds
misc. other stuff. I'll post progress too. @GreatwhiteNorth Here's all you want to know about Yorkshire:

3 bone?
We usually do one of them up on the rotisserie once a month. So good. The best

Sometimes, I get a hankering for a slab of cow unadulterated by the complexities of roasting, gravy, etc, etc.

I get chuck eye steaks, toss them in my cat iron frying pan over a medium flame, some basic spices and turn regularly until medium rare.

It's not fancy, but no one seems to mind.

Looks awesome man, good lookin char!

I forgot to take pics of mine, I failed this thread. It worked great and the Yorkies were good, if not slightly undercooked. Smoked it first for an hour then cooked at 200 until it hit 128. Total beef high.

Since I forgot to photo the deal I got these of the French dips I made with some of the leftovers today-
