The way the seedy seed industry is, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same plant w/ a different name. Your's looks good too tho.


I was trying to describe what the Sugar Black tasted like in samples and I finally put my finger on it.
Purple.
The bud taste purple.

If you've smoked a lot of purple strains you know what I'm talking about. It's a generic berry smell that doesn't smell like berries really, but sweet fruit. Whn you smoke it tho, the sweetness stays a little but there's an earth, almost dirt, undertone. Classic purple.
So yeah. That's what it tastes like so far. Definitely an interesting strain worth a second look. I'd like to try this strain grown by a better grower. I can see the potential.

I was thinking about that and maybe it wasn't such a bumper crop. 7 oz wet including stem weight. I hope I get 2 oz outta that. That's an oz a plant... Autos yeild an ounce a plant.
Then again it was only a 2 gal pot with a 400w light, and it was only two plants so we'll see. The other plants are bigger anyways.
 
So I got a humidifier today, thank God. The plants only spent about 24 hours in less than ideal conditions (RH 30% Temp 85%) but now they're in 60% humidity and 80 degrees F. My goal is to dry them as slow as possible.

Total veg time will also affect the end yeild too mate, for instance with my Tahoe OGK's I gave them a massive 11 weeks veg from seed to yeild what I got from them. Also I use 10-15 litre pots, and x3 600w HPS spread out across my flower room to spread the light coverage out evenly.
Don't be too dis-hearted from the results, for what they've had you've done great there imo fella ;-). Fact is some strains are just low yeilders tbh, I only got an oz of dry Bud from my Bubba Love that I just harvested.

The breeder's description for the plant says 55 days flower but it took more, and if you like it more amber, it could've gone longer. I'd say this plant would go 75-80 days if you like it more amber. This strain has won a few awards in spain for outdoor and hydro, and I can see why. Even with my little 400 watter and 2 gallon pots, shitty soil, fungus gnats aphids and thrips, and lack of specified feeding for the strain, it yielded a lot of rock hard, thickly resinous, wonderful smelling buds.
Here's how things turned out

The weight off two plants was 203.3g or 7.17oz wet.

those look good nuff to me, do you know the sat/ indi ratio to those? and BTw beanz do you do any of those end of harvest trix like drowning, leaching, 24 hour darkness u kno that odd stuff and if so any of it work ?
 
Well I meant to put this up yesterday but I got stoned instead. (but I got high...)
Since last week both strains have been turning purple which is nice. Idk, other than that not much going on. The Northern Light Blue Looks like it will be ready in a week or so (day 70-73), but the WWxBB looks like it might take another 14-21 days. It's crazy. Luckily the SSH I'm trying to save should go into flower early unless you want 10' plants, so I can throw them in the closet together. So, yeah, here's the pics.

Yeah they're supposed to be 100% indica. I've heard of drowning...never done it but I'm gonna try it some of the plants I have left. As for the 36-48 hours darkness...I've tried it and didn't see a difference. I do think there is some merit to the drowning thing tho.
