I got a list of shit I need to buy, but I'm stressing about how. I need-
-Piranha (beneficial fungi)
-AN Rhino Skin (Potassium silicate)
-AN Voodoo Juice
-New bulb (preferably CMH but at least a quality one like Horti)
-Quality soil like Pro-MixHP, Roots or something(keep having to settle for MG Organic Choice)
-Earthworm castings, bat guano and compost for fertilizing
-New mini-fan for the bulb (the one I have now is a pile)
-pH Up
-Fan speed controller
I pretty much need all the basic shit to have accomplish a successful, impressive grow...God help me. I'm working on it tho.
I changed the light schedule so they run at night so my updates are gonna be a day late in the UK as I'll be posting the late in the afternoon most of the time.

Great stuff going on Beanz. I'm sure you weren't talking literally about stress. I have 4-5 weeks left in my first grow. Until I hooked up with RIU member Chickengutz, I was a spastic nut job with the grow. Every little thing that came along sent me over the top with angst. I was making myself sick to my stomach with worry. He summed everything up in 2 sentences. " It's a fucking weed, it's gonna grow." And, "I own my plants, they don't own me" This miminalistic approach has been a godsend for me. I do the basics and Mother Nature does the rest. I noticed you said you need PH products. I just DIY'd some PH Down using 33% battery acid and 1 gal of distilled water. I took 1 cup out of the gal of water and SLOWLY added back the cup using the acid, use safety glasses and gloves. NEVER ADD THE WATER TO THE ACID. Just for kicks, I took the remaing GH PH Down, which has orange dye and added to the gal for color.. Total cost for 2 yrs+ worth of PH Down..$4.50 US. I think I paid $7.00 for 237ml or 8oz retail. I rarely use PH up, but I know you can also make your own for a fraction of what retail sells it for. For everyone screaming "battery acid has lead in it", it only has lead in it AFTER it's been used in a battery. A medicine dropper with .05ml, or 10 drops of my homemade solution will drop a gal of water PH down 1 full PH point. To make it more appealing, once you hit that sweet spot with your PH, it stays there!! At least in my short experience. GL with the grow my friend!

using battery acid is extreme you can use bi carbonate of soda and vinegar can't remember which goes up and which goes down but it's safer than battery acid lol

So far so good with the grow so far. I went ahead and transplanted two SSH's into their final pot (3 gallon growbags) so I don't stress them too bad when they're in the middle of flowering.

Sara is still kinda funky looking but she's got a bigger terminal bud than Kev's Bitch which is weird to me because I thought for sure she was the Haze pheno. Muh.
I went ahead and transplanted her into the 3 gallon growbag even though her roots weren't as developed as Kev's Bitch so I didn't have to do it when she was flowering hard. She's about 17 inches tall, and with 3 gallon pots last time, I grew plants almost 4ft tall plants. And those were supposedly indicas, so we'll see.

Will this one was competing for the spot of favorite, but that was before I knew it wasn't gonna grow anymore! She's a purdy little thing though. Standing all of 8 inches tall and shimmering with platinum white hairs and silvery crystals. My camera truly does it no justice. I'm already beginning to see why it's call Super SILVER Haze. She's definitely got a shine to her. She started out with straight leaves like KB, but somewhere along the line they became distorted. I'm thinking the strain is very delicate, or maybe the pH off Idk, but I'm doing something wrong. Hopefully the next time I decide to try a sativa I'll have some quality organic soil. STILL, despite my best attempts to kill them, they're growing beautiful and strong.
Kevin's Bitch
This plant here's has been a pleasure to grow. She doesn't give me any troubles, her cuttings are rooting pretty easily, her roots are healthy and white and she's the fastest growing one of the bunch. Her leaves are so green and they just pop out like "HEY! Gimme More light asshole!" I really hope she smokes as good as she looks.
The Boys
Here's are the two males I have growing atm. As you can see their two distinctly different phenos. One looks like the Haze pheno for sure with it's long internodes and minimal leaves. The other one seems to have a mutation on the leaves but I'm gonna pass on the genes anyways. I plan to use SSH as a base for a lot of my suture crosses.
SSH Clones & Breeding Plans
The clones right now don't look pretty I know, but they don't have to be. All I need them to do is survive. Then they can take all the time they need becoming mothers and fathers. I was gonna pollinate all 3 SSH's because I wanted to make sure that I got all three phenos in the offspring (stupid I know), But I found out that phenotype isn't written in the genetics, so I only need to pollinate one plant, and I'll get all the phenos I could ask for. I took male cuts just in case I kill the bastards before I can use them. The females I kept just in case one of them turns out to be the magic pheno of my dreams. I'd hate to lose it just cause I didn't clone it. I kick myself in the ass every time I smoked it. lol
New Plants from Seed
All seeds were soaked anywhere from 4-12 hours in plain tap water, and all seeds except for a few of the older Mexi's sank. Everything was planted in a mix of MG Organic Choice and regular MG Potting Soil lightly enriched with composted chicken manure and charged with compost tea.

I Planted 7 on September 2nd. All have sprouted taproots, but about 2 of them look like they might not break soil. I'm very excited about the prospects of growing this strain.

Mystery Mexican genetics
I've had these seeds for a few years and decided to sprout them now since I'm trying to put together my own little strain. I figured I'll get some Mexican genetics in there to mix things up a little bit. I planted a total of 11 seeds and I'm hoping to get 1-2 good males and females. Mexican gets a pretty bad rap because of the brick-weed shwag all over the place, but grown lovingly, they can be impressive smoke.

Nah I didn't. I'll check that out right now.
Good looking out 3e. I now the problem well. I've been using these pots for a while and i transplant 2-3 after they break soil so I don't have to tear the roots out of the bottom.

I tried using vinegar and also lemon juice. Neither offered the stability that I've gotten with my homemade solution. Everything is extreme one way or another. Growing your own weed to save money and in some cases to make money is extreme to some. I do see your point 3eyes, but all advances for the better all were extreme in their own way originally. As I mentioned, caution should be observed. Peace.
