SnappleApple. Yes those were put striaght into the ground, We just tilled the areas where we put them. The small plot where we planted the seeds was 3x3 and 1.5 feet deep filled with sunshine mix #7. We just pushed the seeds in every inch or so. yeah it was alot of seeds.

Now that we've been out there a few times we know the area better and will probably pack a bunch of potting soil in to do the rest. That was the plan in the first place but like I've said, it's been wet this spring and we didn't want to pack soil throught the mud if we didn't even know where we were going yet.

The natural soil down there is a little clay like. All the other veggetation grows like crazy, you can see the different groth rates from one small elevation change to the next, and from lit areas to shaded areas. There are these rhubarb type weeds that are chest high and the leaves are like monster lettuce 2-3 feet big.
One thing I'm worried about with using potting soil down there is that it will dry out faster than the natural. There is a water source near but that would be a full time job that I cant do....... this summer. lol.
I think doing this both ways with natural and potting soil will give a good comparison and a better idea what to do next yer.

well folks, i decided to head out early this morning, to check on my plants and bring 14 more up there, i didn't have time to make their final plot, i just transplanted them into 16 ounce cups and stashed them away in a nice sunny spot till i can return next week with more time. the three skunk#1/white rhino patches are looking good, most are really taking off, the three roadtrip plots aren't as far along but looking good as well, most of the plots needed water so i lugged gallon jugs from the creek and kept them all happy. this are the final roadtrip seedlings, the rest of the nirvana seeds will be going to the other side of the creek where i have plots completely prepared and waiting for babies. the 8 that i planted in the abandoned field are doing fairly well too, though a mole got one, next trip out i will be bringing 14 kc33Xmaster kush plants and transplanting them into there final homes as well as the 14 roadtrips i brought out today. the grass is about 6 feet tall as well as the plentiful and very painfull stinging nettles. to top it off the grass is releasing it's pollen right now, so im just glad i brought some benadrile. anyways here are some pics of my trip.
here are some of the skunk#1/white rhinos;

and some of the roadtrips;

yeah im trying not to count my eggs and all, but im shooting for 10-12 lbs, just a very early goal, don't know if ill even come close as the season is just starting out here, and i got a long way too go, i figure maybe 112 grams per plant, half the plants being female, and about 50 females, maybe more maybe less, but thats how the cookie crumbles in my book, maybe ill get bored and just keep putting out clones till august, and pull a few more, i definatly have room, i think next year im going to go all out with LUI clones and mighty mite seeds. should dwarf this harvest if im lucky.

yeah, they seem to have a lot of indica in them, i hope so! im definatly a more indica heavy fan, though i am not sure if the lineage of roadtrip is disclosed or not, so i wouldn't know. most plants look the same at that age though, skunk #1's always seem to look exactly the same, ive grown so many packs out, they are perfectly hemogenous, nice sturdy sativa....

beaner, i read one of your posts about your dads bud, and your camera taking shitty up close pictures.. but if you go back a page and look at all of those pics you just poasted, take a look at the one of you holding that sweet bud up. your lower thumb is crystal clear.

just gotta put it in macro mode and then take more than one pic till you get it focused right.

p.s. plants are looking great:mrgreen:

yeah i got pansy girly fingers, i don't know why, i lift 2000 cases of beer a day and go to the gym every day, my hands just don't get callaused and dry and cracked like most of my freinds, guess im just lucky like that, and as for the pics, i have gotten lucky in the past with a magnifying glass, and my camera, because my camera has no macro function as far as i am aware, and i really should just learn to use my girlfreinds nice one, but aggghh, i don't want to learn new software and buttons, im lazy and you will have to deal with my blurry crap pics im afraid...
