Barneys Farm finally posted specs on Tangerine Dream!

Had to laugh- I just ordered Tangerine Dream, Strawberry Diesel, plus a Chernobyl, the Flav, and an Agent Orange cuz mine came out male. Got a Vortex male which is now in full bloom. I used it on some other stuff I'm growing: Querkle, Cream Caramel, Missing, Pakistan Valley, and KushberrySkunk. Also have a female Strawberry Kush, Caramelo, and Pineapple Express ready to go 12/12. All will get Vortex pollen, and Agent O when it pops. Just germed a Jilly Bean last week.
As you can see, I have more time than brains. Went nuts at the Pick & Mix- I still have about 12 to go [6 TGA], plus several freebies. (I wouldn't have ordered any more just now, but Attitude owed me a credit)
i would like to start a thread where people can take a look at these different strains in case they have been thinking about growing them. Having upload issues with my cam, so when the pics can be posted I will do that.

I can't wait either I hope you get good phenos man. My tang dream will be at one week since sprout on the 30th. probably harvest around May 8-15th. Feels so long away bro .

Hopefully it won the cup for a reason, Derry n them at Barney's usually put in good hard work on their shit.

Mine arrived broken, even with a tin. Must have been shipped that way, so i'm not thrilled.

This was supposed to be the make-up for an order I paid for but they never shipped. That was Oct.1st (I wanted the Oct UFO).. I re-ordered again as requested, this time trying for the Dec UFO. I got the seeds in January, no UFO's or PR of any kind. I don't think I'm up for the hassle of trying for a replacement.

I smoked Tangerine Dream at the Cannabis Cup last November. I got it at Barneys, and it was the same weed that was entered in the Cup. First thing I have to say is that it did NOT smell like tangerines, nor any other kind of fruit, really... Having said that, it really is very specal weed, and if you give it a chance, you probably won´t be disappointed. The high was strong and well balanced. Fairly long-lasting too. The smoke was VERY smooth, and the weed itself felt dense, but very soft. It almost had the texture of hash; I´ve never seen weed like that before. I don´t know if it deserved to win the Cup, but it definitely is a very good smoke.

I tried it at the cup and went back for more.. the marketing was good too though. the little tangerine stickers on the baggy.

I have some here. Germ rate was poor. 2 out of 5. usually get 4 0r 5 out of 5....

was hoping for more pheno choice but hey ho. I e-mailed Barneys but no reply yet.

i cant wait to see all the results and the smoke reports "the taste is incredible!!!' because it really is! they really brought out the citrusy undertones.

Me too!! Vanilla Kush and Tangerine Dream from Attitude! Awesome man...My kush just sprouted but by dream still hasn't sprouted through the rockwool since germination. Any difficulties with either plant? Any recommendations man? Can't seem to find any plant preferences for either strain...temperature...ph...moisture..etc...any trouble with either plant?

One of my TD's thats in Roots Organics soil was kind of slow starting and looked stunted early on but is fine now. the other one loves the smart pot showed no signs of transplant shock at all it's just starting to take off. proly veg 26-33days more. TD2 has decent branching already this one seems like a keeper. I'm thinking this is how it'll go down... TD1 will have the higher potency, and TD2 will be the heavy yielder.

Best thing I can say is watch the waterings and the nute strength early on if you have to feed(due to the medium you use).



Vanilla Kush very hearty plant doesnt need much, kind of just thrives on it's own. It does love additives I noticed. I would go easy on both strains.
Vanilla kush(which I have 3 of atm) 2 in flower. Vanilla Kush #2 so far is the best pheno of the 2 i have on 12/12 nice stature nice pistil to leaf ratio. Seems like trimming wont be so stressful for us when it comes down to it. Longer vegs will be better imo for high yields it seems. Or topping early. The stretch isn't big at all.

This VK was vegged for like 5-6weeks. This pheno seems like a keeper. Very floral(w/ hints of vanilla) no odor control needed for the 2 phenoes I have.
Day 50 of 12/12;

I have BF/ LSD-Tangarin dream-vanilla kush- and violator .. all were ordered by( herbies pick n mix .com) whitch i have to say i like more then attitude and nirvana . i got all seed in one week with super stealth shipping free to cali/US ... the seed came stash in (labeled in lil bags) a beed set aka imbordery set.. got 4 fem seed freebees. seedism's BLZ BUD and WHITE SHUNK.. all germed within 24 pre soak via RO water. then to moist paper towl. all looks good ..i take that back about TD. i did have to self crack shell of seed gentel. it did look like it was going to germ. very risky ... but it worked and im happy/lucky. they are all look healthy and happy ladys. i wont have none in flowering till mid summer do to the fact that i have to moma/clone them. may start a jounal later in veg. peace and happy growing

ps attitude is a good seed bank ,but i just like the way the way herbies pick n mix prices and stealth dalivery and they have all my strains i want in stock .. peace

I've been reading here a while, but have no clue what my old password was... Anyway, I wanted to post because I've just germinated four Tangerine Dream seeds. My first seeds from Barney's (for which I was super hyped after 15 yrs of reading High Times), and they seriously blow donkey dick.

I think this is my 6th or 7th crop, and I have never had a seed not germinate or be weird - it's always been a matter of removing weaker plants for me. I started four Cataract Kush (all four are rockin' on their third set of leaves 12 days later) and four Tangerine Dream in paper towels twelve days ago, and two of the TD have one set of leaves, one hasn't sprouted even thought it popped, and one has some super creepy inbred thing going on where the stem doesn't grow - it's just the seed leaves opened up at growing medium level and doesn't get taller. WTF, Barney's?

So overall, huge let-down. I set two backup Dinafem seeds to germinate yesterday, assuming they'll take the place of the crap Tangerine Dreams, so I'm reasonably covered in terms of yield. However, that screws up my schedule for this whole grow a bit, so it's a hassle and a half. I read all the posts in this thread before posting this, so I saw the really amazing accounts of the finished product, and quite honestly I would have bought the seeds knowing what I now know, but it would have been cool if Barney's mentioned a crap germination rate with a great payoff when they do go right (given that the only other account here of germinating the seeds is consistent with my experience) so that I could have added my extra two seeds at the outset. If the healthy germination rate is 50%, I'd simply prefer to have that information in advance so I can account for the failures at the outset.

We'll see how they go. The last time I promised a grow journal, I ended up with better weed than anticipated, smoked it, and never got around to documenting anything. I mention that just so you're informed before asking for one...

i just bought 3 grams of tangerine dream from barneys in amsterdam, smoked a spliff loving the tangerine, citrus smell and flavour, buds were nice and compact, still a little icky just how i like it, also i think there is more potential so i got 2.6g curing in my jar, so waiting for its peak to pull it out and get tangerined, does any one know its origins, seems like there might be some g-13 haze in there

G13 X Neville's A5 Haze are the genetics. im on day 18 of flower, sooo many days to go.
