I was going to update today but someone has borrowed my camera and didn't return it last night. It may be tomorrow now but there will be something to see.
I have turned things up a notch.
More will be revealed soon.

Nope, but good guess,
I haven't added any new ingredients just improved on the current set-up.
I do have 10 feminised WW seeds but not germed them just yet.
I'm waiting for some root riot to turn up to start them off in.

You are early enough mate, no worries ;)
I would not fuck around with 'home made' shit, get a mitecide, anything with pyrethoids will do. Make sure you do the follow up treatments. If you can pull your plants out of the grow space and fog it with a good fooger, I would do that.
I've been fighting bugs for a while, my own fault for bringing a clone in without dipping it first :(

I also found this report:

"Chemical control

WiltPruf is a chemical available at most garden supply stores. It is designed to be used during times of drought. It slows evaporation of water through plant leaves by covering the leaves with a thin film. This is harmless to the plant when used as directed. Try spraying the mites with this product. The theory here is that since the two-spot is so dependent on evaporation for its survival, a coating of Wiltpruf prevents that evaporation and the mites die. It does not kill the eggs. Apply three times at five day intervals.

UltraFine is a highly refined petroleum oil spray that will kill both the mites and their eggs. Repeat the application in ten days or so in case you missed eggs or mites on the first application. Remember: get the underside of the leaves as well as the top sides and use caution on soft-leaved plants as foliage damage can occur.

Rose Defense Spray by Greenlight is a botanical oil from the seed of the neem tree that smothers the mites but is gentle on the plants.

Isopropyl alcohol and water at a 50% dilution with a few drops of dishwashing detergent to a quart is an effective mitecide. It’s best to spray it in early morning or late in the day when evaporation is slower. If possible repeating the application 15-20 minutes later will ensure complete control.

We’ve found no damage to foliage even with repeated treatment which can be done at a 4-5 day interval in case a few stray mites were missed. Avid is another well-known chemical that will kill the mites. Be careful. Follow the instructions on the label. If you can’t find any of these chemicals and you decide to try something else, just remember that these critters have eight legs. They are not insects. You are looking for a miticide.
"

Good luck Barking,

Right my mate has got hold of an organic spray for me.
I'm not sure what it's called but it has Pyrethrum in it which is a natural pesticide that will kill spider mites.
Genie seems to be the source and has it worse than the other plants.
Alice has one or two leaves affected.
Obviously I will have to spray the lot to be on the safe side.
And again another 2 or 3 times at about 2 week intervals to kill anything that may have survived (hatched eggs etc).

I took Genie downstairs (accidently broke her top -
I guess it has dealt with the height issues a bit! - snapped off about 7 inches, ouch!!), and sprayed her with a hose, particularly underneath the leaves.
I had left her to adjust to the outside temps first and it started to rain so I am hoping that might have eased the shock of being hosed.

So, after a spider mite attack., snapped top,
hosing down, AND,, still to come, pesticide sprays, there is a good chance the stress will cause her to herm, so I am pondering the idea of pollinating her and just planting her somewhere outside so I can try to get some more seeds. I have already located a couple of guerilla sites too.

I will see how she deals with the next few days.

Now that is all out of the way, I will work on updating this journal.
I have been flat out for the last couple of days and hardly seen my plants except to water them and adjust venting, temps etc

I have started to improve my grow room but it's a couple of days away from being finished.

Thanks Unity.
I don't know if it is the two spot thats on my plant so I want a general insecticide.
I knowit will kill the good bugs too but, an indoor grow is not a great environment for any type of bugs I would have thought.
Well, it might be good for them but, It's not good for me.
