Yeah tonight is low of 27 shitty but I had to move them
I know you know this already Balzac, but I'll just say it again that as long as it doesn't stay 27 for too long, the plants should suffer minimal damage.

Just a month ago, I was dealing with this exact same scenario where I live.

It would be in the mid to upper 30s/40s at night, even for a week or so, but then we'd get a few nights in the high 20s...which always freaks me out.

Personally, anytime the weather gets cold, the biggest thing to come of it is a slowing in growth.....until nighttime temps get back above freezing consistently.

The only time I've killed my plants outdoors is when the temps got into the low 20s for any period of time. At that point, cell walls are exploding, and death or a poorly functioning plant was my result.

I'll be watching and praying for ya brother....!

:peace:

Lost a few fan leaves but nothing much and some discoloration. The clones were perfectly fine while the mothers lost a few big fan leaves. Nothing really bad.

good result, no real harm done
but it's a 'sweat it out' experience, you never know just how cold the temps will get
so the season sounds like it's off to a good start

I built some small cold frames for them, I would say okay to fair. Hopefully they can make it to next week when it warms up

Looks pretty good. I wish I could grow outside. No light bulb could ever compare to 'ol Sol. But it looks like you guys are getting the same shitty weather were getting here in the PacNorWest. +rep

im planning another outdoor cropulation and I have a few inquires and would appreciate any speculation....should I: plant the babies in a pot then submerge the pot in the ground, if so about how far in said ground, how does one discreetly transport water to the site,AND how to control and eliminate caterpillars, last year they devastated me..i have BOTH neem oil and something with pyrethrins, as well as an insecticidal soap...oh and what is your form of training to acquire multiple colas, topping confuses me so if you could dumb it down I would be eternally grateful..sorry for the abundance of questions btw :(

if you get answers to all these questions, you will have done well and well on your way to outdoor success
the only thing i will address is the discrete transportation of water, same as discretely visiting your site, location, location, and location

My clones are looking good still. I just wish the mothers didn't get frosted so bad. They look terrible.
