Balancing PH of water

Lemon juice is fine. I've used vinegar, lemon/lime juice, citric acid in the past. I'm using ascorbic acid vitamin C now.
Are you measuring the pH? Before you start adding anything to make adjustments, be sure to measure your mix before and after.

And something to add: my PH of water is around 8 wich is high and i wanted to lower the PH. I think im facing with nutrient lock out and i think this is what causing it to happen.
You can check my other threat if you are curious or wanna help me out with the issue im having..

By mix I mean your water/lemon juice mix or water/nutrient/lemon juice mix.
It is good to know the ph of your soil too.

I've used vinegar as well but I've noticed the effect is kind of temporary. Like I'm constantly battling the PH rising if I use vinegar. If I add vinegar to water and leave the water for a day or so, the PH is back to where it was. PH Down lasts much better.

Bcz the water im using for my plant is around PH of 8 wich a bit high

I use straight well water at a ph of 8.1

Depends on what the medium is. Organic you'll be okay. My water is PH around 7.5-8 as well and it caused a lot of issues with lockout in my soil grows, FFOF. The PH of the soil was way too high and that led to deficiencies due to lockout. And I think if you try that with hydro/coco you'll be in for a real bad time.I use straight well water at a ph of 8.1

Tap water has low ionic strength so pH cannot be reliably read without specialist instruments. You’re better off ignoring it.

I agree with Cannabineer, I would not worry about an 8.0 PH if growing in soil. I would be more concerned about overall water quality, especially if supplied by your local municipal water service. The good news about a local municipal is that they usually publish their water report so you can get a general idea of what is in your water.

My plant is light green with yellow leafs at the bottom (wich is a sign of nitrogen defiency) and then having burnt tips all over the place. So im guessing nutrient lock out is whats going on to my plant and high PH of water is causing it..

I was using well water with a ph of about 8 in my hydro system, caused all kinds of problems and was hard to keep down. I bought a ro filter and that cured the problem. I still use about 1/2 tsp of citric acid every day or two in my 17 gallon res once the ph rises above 6.

It was probably excess Ca wanting to raise the pH back up.
