My outdoor crops are doomed. It’s mid October, way to warm and My flowering kicked off almost a month later than it should Because of the suns schedule this year. So I have a Set of giant treeS that are going to just rot off cause there gRowing small buds bud not forming yet. Maybe I’ll get lucky and the weather will be fair till end of November. There about 8 feet tall now.

Man, I hope the weather is kind to you. It's been a bitch to me the last ten days but I'm just finishing up in a few days so I can at least finally get some sleep. Good luck to you brother.

Last year on September 22nd the sun would rise at 630-640am Give or take and would set between 7-715 pm starting The 12 hr day 12 night cycle Before winters break. I live in the big Apple which edges the horizon being so far north. It should of been dark here about 20-30 minutes ago and it’s just now starting to break dawn. And 70 degrees middle of hollows eve month. My colas should of been huge and ready to chop but it’s just starting about three weeks in flower.

It should be in the 40s and 50s with frosty mornings. There’s Been no rain and It’s too warm. I have a feeling the first of nov it’s gonna get real cold out of nowhere in the 30s And not rise up and there gonna freeze out and rot. So I need to plan on getting a tarp and heater

Fingers crossed for you.. but they look more like theyre just getting started
Mine looked like that late august here in the northeast

Have you thought about a greenhouse around them it will help with the heat maybe feed them a good dose of your favorite bloom or flower two or three times a week

Holding out hope for you man. I’m dealing with mid 40’s daytime high. And low 30’s for night. There still alive. No doubt they’ve stopped growing. But I hope to ripen them well the tarp awning keeps them dry. Maybe they grow bigger for you, and you can find a way to keep them dry will the cold increases resin production and hopefully ripen. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

I got some gelatos inside growing that I’m gonna chop on wedsnesday. I started them there 72 hrs of dark for myself but at the same time I was really hoping these would of blew out the way I wanted them to. Lol so much for the outdoor tang. It’s got tiny buds that are starting to frost up by the colas are way off and I’m thinking about just getting a couple 8x10 tarps and just putting a small led for day and add a heater when it freezes.

I used dr earths flower girls and all purpose 5-5-5 on the outside and my autos and I have to say I was impressed. The black magic dry amendment is just as good as Gia greens 2-8-4 and there all purpose. Look how big these colas are on my autos. There as big as pop cans and they smell delicious.

Your outdoor plants don’t need 12/12 to start flowering. Did you have any outdoor lights that may have influenced delayed flowering? Also, unless the earth somehow shifted on its axis, the daylight hours to date relationship should not have changed from last year…or any other year. None of this makes sense.

I was going to say the same thing. It might be the strain is what I’m thinking. If there was that dramatic in a shift in the worlds axis it would have a negative affect all agriculture and we’d be hearing about it daily on the news.
Im in the PNW just above 45 degrees north and this year was no different, sun rise/ sunset schedule was the same. Only difference was the friggin heat dome in June. 4 days between 106-114

Based on those long thin fan leaves those plants look like sativas which can take a long while to finish up. Not sure why they would get a late start, though, unless as someone said above there's some lights shining on them at night.

Didn't happen to feed them a bunch of N late in August or September did you? That can make them devote more energy to vegetative growth than flowering.

Agree that the sun's "schedule" doesn't vary in any detectable way year-to-year.

Its def a full or heavily leaning sativa. You’re looking at a November harvest!

It’s pitch black where the plant is at night. It’s behind a garage and I know the 12/12 don’t have to be dead on for flower to start because it changes more dark than day every day as winter comes at least by five or ten minutes. It makes sense cause last year in the middle of October when I took my daughter to school it was usually dawn or daylight outside at 645 am at least last year it was. But it’s full night dark without a days break when she leaves and her hours are still the same. Maybe it did shift axis, it did a few years back idk, but the light schedule is not the same and either is the temps. It was mid 30-40s last year and it was 80 degrees today. That’s why indoor is better when it comes to control cause Mother Nature really decides what you harvest. I think it’s rained two or three times in the past month or so.
