I don't understand the healthstone stuff. I bought one but it hits lousy (except for hash) and a lot of the wax ends up in the rig. I emailed healstone to ask what I am doing wrong and they never replied. 2 weeks later I see aqualab offering these with a reclaimer on them. Must be a common problem then. Seems like a cycle of a stone for a medium which doesn't filter good enough to put a reclaim system on it so you can run material through it again which should have been filtered better to begin with. Seems like they should offer different types or densities of a medium for different products. I have been able to get much better hits using ashes as the medium in certain slides and my rigs stay clean compared to using healthstone. Much, much cheaper as well, just doesn't look as cool or support healthstone. I'm new to this so I might be completely wrong that's why I'm questioning your post.
hey heyyy.. as SD mentioned, ALL rigs are gonna catch that pretty oil you are dabbing. thus = RECLAIM
for efficiency, you generally want to take stretched out thin dabs, not big thick chunker dabs.
that only lasts so long if you start to hit oil more regularly.. so you gotta pace yourself :]
big milky fat donger oil hits will leave you with lots of reclaim.. dense smoke will accumulate much more reclaim than a thinner hit. -In my experiences -
sooo, as for the health stone.
it takes a correct burn to light it efficiently.. SD explained it pretty well on how to torch it.
as for me, with small hits, i just throw a little chunk of oil,wax, butter, etc on it, (solvent collected hash!
) and graze the top of the stone just lightly enough to where i see vapors come through, I DONT BURN THE SHIT OUT OF IT, ever..
for big hits, i pre warm the stone, sprinkle oil across as much surface area of the stone as i please.. the oil then melts into the top part of stone, i then flip the pipe sideways as i hit it, (instead of the bowl pointing towards the sky, in points level across the earth)
my pipes none the less still get reclaim across the bottom, but minimal.. i can heat up the bottom with a torch and drip it all out onto some parchment.

i personally love this pipe, for on the go, its my fucken baby.
it does challenge many smokers though. i tend to torch the bowl for someone who has never done it.. i once tried bubble hash off of it for fun, bad idea, oils all the way :]
sir dabs, that e nail is pretty cool, always ready dabber, noice, how is the taste off of that thing compared to the domeless quartz???
i like those domeless things, buddy had one that looked just like Aliens(1986) head :]
