anyone grow autos in hempy buckets? my understanding is that autos don't like a ton of water all the time - would that make growing them in hempys less than ideal? anyone grow autos in em?
air stone in your feed res, or buried in the bucket?Your understanding is false.
I grow autos in coco. Flooded multiple times daily.
Also coco hempy style with a perlite res and air stone.
They grow fast and large.
In the bucket. Coco over 4" of chunky perlite, air stone under an inverted netcup. Don't know if it makes much of a difference overall but it feels good. I just started 2 more, maybe I'll only hook one up this run. Got the idea because I wanted to try autopots but couldn't justify the price at the time.air stone in your feed res, or buried in the bucket?
never went that far but I use perliteIn the bucket. Coco over 4" of chunky perlite, air stone under an inverted netcup. Don't know if it makes much of a difference overall but it feels good. I want autopots as well - the price for the 4x doesn't seem unreasonable, but I don't have the cash for it this run either. I was gonna pick up some of those Airdomes that autopot sells for like $10 eachIn the bucket. Coco over 4" of chunky perlite, air stone under an inverted netcup. yea that is a good point - if you already have the air stones then away cheaper lolI gave up on autopots. The way I perpetually grow autos, it's not feasible. Too many plants at different stages.
As for the added air, I'm still not sold that it makes a difference. Some of the autopot users swear by them though. Running inverted netpots saved a lot of bucks when I was looking at 6 airdomes. lol
