im running 2 600 watt hps but photos you could probaly do 4 per light if your pots arent real wide so 8 total ! with photos i would say 1 plant per light = 1 pound per light dried and cured 4 autos per light = 8 ounces per light

I think you can elevate your weight per plant & light for autos in general, & the XXLs will be much higher. I do more photo but my last run was all autos - 5 FB Mexican Airlines (not a big yielding strain) & 1 FB Gorilla Cookies. TTL under (1) HLG 600R w/co2 was north of a pound after 9 weeks from seed @ 18 on. Well over 4 oz dry from one Mexican Airlines.

I like the reduced trimming with autos (a job I hate), plus the cycle time. If I have to fog the plants or foliar, it’s so much easier. Seems like a much higher bud to leaf ratio.

Running 3 600w hps with autos
What’s my best bet to yield more
I’m thinking 12? 4 per light, or would you go higher 5/6 per light?
Learn how to improve your growing skills. That will give you your biggest yield increase.

Your square footage dictates your yield not the number of plants.

People that say autoflowers are poor yielders are poor growers.
