Bored here are sum pics of both sides and an extra bud porn for u guys. I think im going to lay off nutes and molasses and just go with water dont think she likes it very much I gave her 10ml of Bio Flores dont think she liked it flushed then gave her 1tsp molasses and dont think she liked it ether... Should i pick off the dead leaves? Also is it ok to pull all fan leaves or trim to get the bud sites in the middle and bottom more light?

smoke now i dont think thats nute burn, but by the sounds of it u have been giving a gd feed regime, have u checked ya ph run off after watering. i have jus been through same prob, if th eph is too high then nutrient lock out will occur, i was puttin ph 6 and run off was 8, it may not be this but its a starter, looks like although u r giving nutes the plant cant take em up,, looks like an n deficiency

most likly the N dealio, i hear with auto's it's best to give them 1/5 veg nutes mixed with 4/5 bloom nutes from week 3 on(till flush) becouse you never veg them they dont get the N they need with most ferts(cus you only have time for bloom nutes) smokenow now offence but she doesnt look happy, you should try cutting your nutes so they have a stable bit of N in the PK....(there's a thread on here about a guy who doesnt stop using veg nutes, rather he only gives them some when they start to show n def. his leaves are all green even upto chop)(though some people say you want the plant to eat all preserved nutes so you have less starch/chems) Peace & good growin to all!

I think i'm gonna start them on ff organic for the 2 and 3 weeks, flush, then a mix of ff bloom with a little organic in there also. from what i've read you can give ff organic to them as soon as they sprout, don't worry anybody i'm only gonna give them 1/4 dose, but i've also heard you want you first feed kinda strong then drop it big time, it don't make too much sense to me thought.

ok this is what i am going with my girl

Magnesium is a component of the chlorophyll molecule and serves as a cofactor in most enzymes.

Magnesium deficiency will exhibit a yellowing (which may turn brown) and interveinal chlorosis beginning in the older leaves. The older leaves will be the first to develop interveinal chlorosis. Starting at leaf margin or tip and progressing inward between the veins. Notice how the veins remain somewhat green though as can be seen in figure 15.
Notice how in Figure 16 and 17 the leaves curl upwards like they're praying? They're praying for Mg! The tips may also twist.
This can be quickly resolved by watering with 1 tablespoon Epsom salts/gallon of water. Until you can correct nutrient lockout, try foliar feeding. That way the plants get all the nitrogen and Mg they need. The plants can be foliar feed at ½ teaspoon/quart of Epsom salts (first powdered and dissolved in some hot water). When mixing up soil, use 2 teaspoon dolomite lime per gallon of soil.
If the starting water is above 200 ppm, that is pretty hard water, that will lock out mg with all of the calcium in the water. Either add a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of epsom salts or lime (both will effectively reduce the lockout or invest into a reverse osmosis water filter.
Mg can get locked-up by too much Ca, Cl or ammonium nitrogen. Don't overdo Mg or you'll lock up other nutrients.

Now i am new to all this and though i was doing ok till i started nutes i have laid off nutes and molasses and just plain water. I dont know about epsom salts or lime or if this is even the problem but she looks worse today.

... and on my first grow. My brother turned me on to PC Grow boxes and autoflowering dwarves. I have a lovely Lowryder 2 that I think is right about ready to harvest. She has been 80 days since she germinated. My brother thinks she should have another week or two to go (he hasn't seen her in person ... just pics). But most of her pistils are brown, and when I scope her trichs, many are clear, several are milky, and some amberish. What's the best way to know when the time is right for the energized high rather than body stone?

I am a medical user ... I have stage IV breast cancer, but am using Rick Simpson's hemp oil as part of my treatment and I have gained weight on it ... something that I desperately needed to do ... and I feel great! I use the Lowryder in the evenings to help me eat and it's got must enough sativa kick to keep me working in the kitchen rather than locking on the couch. :)

I just germinated a pair of AK47 x Hindu Kush seeds ... I germinated them in dirt because I lost 2 of the 3 Lowryder 2 seeds I had. I attempted to germinate them in my Aerogarden cuz that has worked every time for my brother. They all germinated, but they never got strong enough to take off except the girl who's about ready.

Has anyone tried the AK x Hindu Kush here? I'm hoping that will be relaxing enough to use at bedtime ... I love a strain that will help me sleep! :)

Thanks so much!

Melizzard: Going from trich colouration - I'd chop now if I was trying to avoid debilatating stonedness (the more amber, the heavier the buzz).

Greetings fellow auto-lovers! I would've been here sooner, but I had to school myself with the 164 pages of content on this tasty thread first.
Much respect to all the posters here. You guys have thought me just about everything I need to know bout auto-flowers.
I CAN NOT F*CKING WAIT to let my new 600w loose on my DR & auto-AK beans!
THERE WILL BE BUD!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes....

will differently try that method next time around this time i tried the water soaked one that one had me feeling nervous later on that it didnt work another thing i read is that the paper towel method hurts the tap root by removing them off the paper towel you tear tiny root hairs that could slow growth later on read that on a growing 101 class on this site but i will try it after all it is a learning experience
I just germinated two AK x Hindu Kush seeds. I soaked them for about 1 hour ... prolly could've done it for longer. Then I just planted them in tiny cups, in FFF Happy Frog soil. Three days later, they were peeking out of the soil. This is my second grow ... the last one, 2 of my 3 Lowryder seeds didn't make it. They cracked, but the tap root never got strong enough for them to take off, but I tried to germinate them in an Aerogarden, and that didn't work so hot for me, though it has for my brother. I'm at 8500' elevation and he's at sea level, so wondering if altitude makes a difference ... less oxygen for one thing.

Anyway, we'll see if these take ... perhaps directly to dirt is a good thing. That's how it would happen in nature, right? ;)

Forgive me for not reading through the entire thread, but does anyone have a comparison on the Dr Greenthumb's iranian auto vs. the world of seeds afghani kush ryder, both grown outdoors. I will be aiming for either a ten or twelve plant crop depending on which of the strains i choose. The Iranian claims to produce 100-250g per plant. The afghan appears to be stronger but does not have much info about the average outdoor yield per plant.

Hey 400, Where did you find mini thunder fuck? I have looked around for strains but havn't run across that one yet. I'm friends with a couple old schoolers who grow alaskan and thats it, but I know why. It tastes good to the last toke.

your lights are to close. you cooked the little fucker dude.
But didn't someone say to keep the lights 2-3" from the babies? I just moved my seedlings up after reading that post. The tops of my seedlings are now about 2" away from my Aerogarden light. Is that too close then?

OK, and two more noob questions for you wise sages ... LOL:

1) I'm slowly but surely working my way thru this thread and KolorBlind said that you should run the youngsters under 6500s for the 1st 2 weeks but then move them to 2500. I typically have them under 6500s until I see buds starting, then move them cuz I have two PC Grow boxes ... one w/6500s in it and the other with 2500s. Should I not be doing that?

2) My LR2 girl is about ready to harvest. The top half of the plant has brown pistils ... most trichs are clear, but some milky and a few amber. The bottom half of the plant is a different story ... she's still sprouting new buds with pretty white pistils. Do I let her keep growing or what's the best way to tell when it's time to harvest her? Would rather have the energetic high of the LR than a narcoticy couch lock. :)

3) What's a Diesel Ryder? Is that a specific strain or is that one you custom bred, Kolor? If one can buy the seeds, what kind of high does it give? I like to have a 50:50 sativa to indica (or 60:50) for evening when I have to cook, etc. And then I like an 80% (or thereabouts) indica for sleep.
