Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

I believe a autoflowering strain will flower "X" amount of days after its born regardless of what light cycle its on... switching from one light cycle to another might stunt its growth for a day or two so you might have less yield then if it was done "PERFECTLY" but who does that? I think you would be absolutely fine to throw some autos in your batch or regular plants.. they wont be perfect but you will totally get a harvest from them

Hi, here are 3 of my autos, 3 i have chopped already and probs was a little too soon but still is a very nice smoke. Just wanted an opinion into weather these look ready they are now at day 73 from sprout. Wasnt too sure if they are taking too long, i know different autos take longer than others but i just wanna get these picked at the right time, plus i dont have a magnifying glass.
The 5th pic is of the roadrunner and the rest are the blueberry x diavolo.
Wat do you guys think?

Personally opinion is that they do great outdoors, 8-10 week maturity means less potential exposure to negative elements, along with less time to be discovered.

Negatives would be that they are low to teh ground, easier food target for critters and depending on the area you pick potential for shading from larger plants.

For outdoors I might go with a strain that has higher vertical growth, and I would sta away from fruiter smelling plants, i.e Blueberry, lemon, etc.... Just to deter animals from munching..

Havent done them outdoors, so just my opinion.

Thanks man :blsmoke: I am going to take the smaller gamble and get these stocky plants. Vertical growth will be spotted by my neighbors, and I can't take that chance.

thats true m8 a plant can be decieving mine looks done at the mo 9 1/2 weeks easyrider but trichs say nooooooooo so we shall wait another week and see, here pcs

So I'm 3 weeks from germination into my easyrider grow ... my ppms are around 250, I know it's low but I'd rather be to little than burnt to death... What should my new ppms be when I switch over to my bloom nutes in a couple days?

you dont want to increase the PPM to drastically (250 to 1000). Alos, 250 is way to low for this stage. I would jack it up to 500 ppm (over night) and then each week that passes by you can add an extra 250ppms .... i usually start off with 250 ppms for the first week or two then i jack it up to 500 ten 750 then 1000 .. and i stop somewhere around 1500 ppms sometimes a tad more.

Great, thx for the advise... quick question... y jack nutes up in the 4 hour dark period? Is that better for the plant?

Here is an update. I lollipoped plant #3 .. i was running short on bud so i trimed up the bottom branches and got a 5 grams wet... afterwards i remember seeing a plant that looked like mine and they call the trimming technique "lollipoping" ... anybody familiar with this lollipop technique?

hey guys, i think i got sum males showin on the joint docs. instead of pistils, do lil oval shaped things start to form where the bud sites are?

Yes the oval shape grow on bud sites and then the pistols come out.... if its not oval but round as a ball then its prob a male

You will know a male when you see it... even for a newbie its easy to recognize because there will be dozens or hundreds of ball sacks forming everywhere... if these just showed up then give it a few days to see what it does... it wont hurt any to wait a few days
