iv never had one thank god. but light leaks, genetic, stress, many things bro
Been wondering bout this.

How much stress & what type do the girls dislike (resulting in hermies)

I am doin some supercroppin pretty much every other day due to some vertical space constraints. Would that type of high stress training cause one o' them chicks w/ dix??

im not saying it cant, but if you can let them recover a bit before stressing her out again. i have the same problem, in one of my grow areas, and i just keep tying her back. when she gets up into the light, i made one look like a prezel, one time. she had many colas by the time she was done.

SH2H!

Got another question for ya. I don't know much about auto-flowering nutrients...

I have MG All-Purpose. Pretty Basic its ratio is 24-8-16. Should I use this? If so, when and for how long?

I have MG Bloom Booster which is 15-30-15. Obvious will be using this but I don't know when to start?

PS- Check out my journal! Pics are posted! And I went with the chandelier and extra bulbs :) Thanks for the advice ;) +rep for ya

I would suggest keeping any topping, or super cropping to the veg stage, and not do it during the flowering stage, that way your plant has time to heal before its even showing any sex what so ever. Probably less chance of hermies that way, if you stress them in flower, they can easily go hermie. They seem to be able to take more outdoors, and hermies are not as much of an issue, as in they dont occur as often. With autos, as short as the veg stage is you might not want to do either. If anything LST them.

My friend had a female 2 main colas and two 68W cfls fell and split one off and it grew some nuts so he killed it. but your saying that it would have made all female seeds?

i use FF ocean forest soil, it has enough nutes to last for 2-3 weeks by that time its well into flowering stage. i only use nutes in weeks 4 and 5, after that its tap water from there on out. hell i actully grew some in this soil and gave them no nutes what so ever, and they did just fine. never showed any sign that they needed nutes. now i use light worrier and ocean forest mix. about 10% L.W and 90 ocean forest.

You might want to start feeding sooner or at least up the dosage, your pics show very deficient plants....

I thought it was normal for an autoflower to let most of it's fan leaves die off in the last week or so of life to focus all of it's energy on bud production? That's what I've been seeing in a lot of the AF grow journals.

these plants are about done and it is normal for leaves to turn yellow and die off. i really dont see a problem with them. nor a deficiency. on either my auto grow or regular grow. leaves are not burnt and no spots. just old leaves.

but i bet you know more than i do on the matter. so you think i need to up the dosage.
Yeah not saying I know more or anything. But I have seen plants very close to harvest and their leaves don't look quite as bad as yours.
But yes, plants to put most of their energy into the buds and take it from the leaves during time of harvest. I just don't think it is that severe. I think they just don't grow as much.

But hey I could be wrong! Still on my first grow! :weed:
