Hey no prob. the faster the betta! anywayz, I am growing in soil not hydro...but even though you said res....I would jus do the same to my nutrient soloution in that gallon pitcher.. jus dilute that??

Hey brother, to lower your ppm just dilute your res with plain water PH'd at 6.7 (or w/e resident PH is @)

Didn't mean to step on any toes, but I know sometimes a fast reply can be helpful.

Yeah man! We're on the same page, because that's exactly how I'm growing, except that I'm using all bat-shit and seaweed. :bigjoint:
Same idea though. ppm is parts per million..basically it's how crowded the water is with nutes etc. So if you make the solution more dilute (remember to re-PH), then the PPM goes down. To raise it, add more solids to your water.

Hope this helps brother.

Hey man, I would switch to your flowering bulb when they show sex. (2-3 weeks from seed typically in autos)
And consider adding at least 100 watts to that setup. If you play it smooth, you might get over another ounce of tasty buds for adding it.
Just my .02

I am new to growing and in the middle of my first grow. I have 3 autofems under 200w cfl, 20/4, no nutes, happyfrog organic soil, and purified water, 6" pots, in a closet, blueberry kush , snowrdyer, and hindu kush. I know its a stupid question but when do i switch to my flowering bulb? I'm not sure what to look for. I have white hairs about 1/2 long? Any tips would be app Thanx

I uesed both dope seeds and attutide and placed the orders at the same time but it took a week looker for dope seeds. There both great.

Hay dude, I'm Ripster from my Autoflowering Group. Your welcome to come and check us out. All about auto's is what we are. About the lighting question. Don't change the bulbs!!! Auto's dont need a light cycle change. And you might want to transplant them plants into bigger pots say at least an 8" pot but 10 inches best. I wouldn't want to see those plant die or super dwarf in small pots. Any more questions and I'd be sure to answer them. Come to my page and check out my pics and click on the group and see what it's all about. Later dude and hope to see you there.

Not trying to be a know it all but how many of you guys giving advise on auto's have actually grown an auto? I ask this cause the advise you all are giving is wrong. Lighting stays on for 20/4 and the veg. bulbs stay though out the entire grow. Changing bulbs and going w/12/12 for flowering will stunt if not kill the auto. Please guys, if your going to give advise on the auto's do some research before giving out your personal ideas. Later the Rip.

hey man, totally dig what ur sayin bout not changin photo period. I have some girls finishin that have been on 20.4 the entire time.

However, I just wanted to clarify, that when you mention NOT changing the Veg. bulb, youare saying to keep a halide bulb in thru entire grow instead of swithicing to an HPS??

I'm a noob finishin my first go w/ autos, and I ran a halide bulb for the first 3 weeks, then shifted to hps & things have gone pretty well.

Just wanted to know ur opinion 4 future ref.

I hear ya on the being patient. Its just a huge bummer when the reason I ordered from them was because most customers got their seeds in 5-7 days. And I am on the east coast. AKA NY.

And I have a question about autos. When is the earliest time you can plant them outdoors? May?

Hey yall, here's a glimpse at a couple girls in my bedroom grow.

Here's one LR2 (autoregular)

Here's one mi5 (autofem)

I have a total o 17 plants in SIX 3gallon grow bags with FFOF soil amended with 15% perlite and 10% EWC.
In a day or two, I am going to transplant all ten of the LR2's (ones I am going to get some males from) into those red plastic beer cups where they will stay until I can tell the boys from the girls.

Going to be using mexican bat guano to feed until flowering (with a bit of kelp and espom salts. Then for flowering, hit them with Jamaican batshit, molasses and -as always- a pinch of epsom salts.

BTW, I'm saving the strongest LR2 male to harvest pollen and breed with.

I'll get more pics up soon..probably take some of the transplanting, and spacing out of the other plants into the 3 (soon to be vacated) 3gallon growbags that the LR2's are in right now. :dunce:

 I'm keeping two 1gallon jugs filled with brita filtered water aerating constantly. When I water, I PH the water AFTER aerating it for a long time. I noticed that the PH raises back up (acid probably gasses off) if you PH it before aerating for a long while.

I'm ALWAYS learning new shit here, so I appreciate any suggestions any of you might have.

Peace~

Hey homey, that is weird that beans aren't there. I would wait til monday & then ask Jim for tracking #.

Having never grown outdoors (aside from a BS attempt back when I was a teenager), I don't wanna speak out my ars.

But from my reading & research, i did see that most folks in our particular area wait until @ least May, if not June for autos.

Simply to harness the maximum amount of sunshine (which obv. ain't april & sept.)

Again, I could be totally wrong, just what I remember reading. From a logical stand point, (knowing kinda what ur climate is), I would lay those babies down in late May.

Stay up bro, nothin like seein that package arrive.

Almost wanted to hug my mailman when I saw him walk up with it!

holla back

Yeah man, those look great. Personally, I'd be giving them water and molasses at this point for 10-14 days (when about 60% of the trichomes are amber... but then I love the couchlock.

Good Job brother.

any takers, lookin for a product name & a source. Evthing @ h depot & lowes looks like the holes aren't big enough, or not enough space in between.

Obviously your not growing INSIDE bone heads from uk. But nice try. I'll say it again, theres no need to change bulbs ON AN INSIDE grow.

sweet may i ask wtf it does :P
Its full of micro-nutrients that are in your nutes, but none of the harsh nutrients (NPK) so it keeps your plant thriving but helps to remove the chemical taste of nutrients. Almost every bottle of nutrients either has some molasses, was derived from molasses, or has products that were derived from molasses in it. Its very good, natural stuff to feed your plant.

Some people say it boosts resin production and makes the bud taste better. Personally I just think these people are high :) But thats my opinion. People use black strap because it has been processed/refined more than most molasses, resulting in more micro-nutrient production. I use it at 1-2Tbs per gallon when I water, starting roughly 3 weeks before I think its harvest time. In the last week, use molasses every other watering, and water only otherwise.

Best way to make a screen is to build the frame yourself out of cheap 2" x 1/4" wood or something similar. Then attach small nails every inch or so around the framework to tie hemp, yarn, fishing line, etc to. The nails should be sticking up, so that you can weave your material through them, keeping it nice and tight. That way you get exactly the size screen you want, with exactly the size holes you want.

Oh and by the way, the ladies look great man! Looks damn close to harvest time :) Sorry I have been very busy and haven't been checkin the thread every day.

Peace
