hey thanks for the positive vibes, kolorblind!! yaa theyre fem seeds.. just never fked with autos before and cant find any grows online that are comparable 2 my situation... ive been readin my balls off tho n think i know what to expect... thanks again man:peace:

I actually ordered a bunch but got lost in mail (all my fault). Anyway, I looked into them a good bit & it really seems that the Spainards are givin the Dutch a run for their money.

Right now I have some Pyramid beans going.

(Got the pyramid auto strain as a freebie w/ my other autos, and the freebie has been the strongest & largest from the jump.)

Got some reg. photo beans from Pyramid as well, and they sound pretty tasty & again are outperforming the other beans that were started at the same time from top name breeders. And something else I noticed, is that it seems most of the Spanish breeders really make an effort to get sell fem'd beans as the default.

Was totally bummed bout effin up my Autofem order. I had some auto chem dawg (would have LOVED to see how that worked out), and some Auto Fuel I think it was. I believe it had some type of diesel in 'em.

Anyway, just wanna confirm that those beauties were indeed Autofems in the capsules. If so, did the capsules work out OK? Germ rate good, etc?

I've got some lowlife ak's & white rooskies going right now, maybe a week or 2 older than yours (sprouted on 1-16).

Love to hear your harvest report.

They:mrgreen: were big buddah fems in a capsule and all germed ok , one bitch died just b4 flowering but i have another four bitches about a week old in with the four that are nearly finished.

This is truly a fantastic thread and resource. Mad props and + rep to KB, reis and all the others who have contributed throughout and made this a great place for newbs to learn about autos. KB, I especially have to give you props for being the backbone here. You have a dedication to research and facts more than most.. All while keeping a cool demeanor. I appreciate it.

OK, I am starting my first AF grow! Nine beans cracked on March 12 of my Auto White russian. Paper towel method. Then I planted directly in FFOF soil and put them under the 400w HPS. Its a little too hot in there, as I'm waiting for a better fan system to come in. We're ranging from 82-87 if ambient temps get up there. After planting, the 5 biggest sprouts all made it, but the smaller four never did. Anyone have any theories as to why??

My two guesses are that I either should not have started with the FFOF, or that the temps killed em. this is only my second grow, and first AF, so I dont know $hit.

Hey man, thanks for the kind words!!

I have never used the FF line of soils personally, although I would love to. Does the FFOF have nutes in it already? If so, that could have been what did it, but most likely it was the heat. Anything over 85F makes it very hard for the plants to take up C02.

I assume you were keeping them watered, but not watering too often right? You always want to wait until the pot feels very light and appears dry before watering to let the roots stretch out. Also, how far away from your HPS were your seedlings? Needs to be 10-12 inches MINIMUM.

Hope your remaining ladies blow your socks off man :)

What settings are you using ur camera to get such good pics. (THIS GOES FOR EVERYONE, CHIME ON IN!!)

My girls are in a tent & its obv. completely useless to try & snap pics w/ the hps on. & when it's off most of my reg. lighting is up higher than the tent & doesn't allow proper lighting for the camera to take photos w/ out a flash on. If I take with the flash on, the white background of the tent just makes em all kinds of jacked up.

I've tried puttin a reg. lamp on floor next to tent, but only allows me enough light to take good pics of 1 or 2 (and of course they are like the weakest of the bunch.)

I don't know jack about cameras.

This one is all of like 4 months old, and it says it's a 10 megapixel jank. (I know its @ least descent, with as little as I know, I do have to use a really really shitty camera for work, in by contrast my new camera is 10times better than that one.)

Just didn't know if there are any custom settings I should try for betta close up??

Any feedback would be great.

Sorry dude, I was breezing back over the page & saw you already mentioned that you've called in the cavalry so to speak "waiting for better fan to come in".

Flower setting...... AWSUM,,, it's almost like the macro was made for this flowering period....
Showhard,, if ya looking for a pretty decent setting and yr camera has means to programme manually,, an easy setting is
iso = 80
apeture = 1/6400 ( a fast shutter speed)
White balance on high
Then if you have an option between... F2.8 and 7.0 choose 2.8,, I have no idea what this last settings for and I'm certainly no papparazzi photog,, but these setting give me stunning pics both in flower/macro and autofocus,, failing that set yr camera on auto and push yr light away from the ladys,, this seams to work well, or last option hit flower/macro, force flash on stand away and zoom in ( you have to be still coz yr in close up mode) this gives you close up shots but without the flare from yr cameras flash... If ya play round with these sort of settings ya can't fail.. Currently updating not near my pute but when I do so il post sum pics,, hope this helps

I have 4 wheelers I use to get to the area which is not to far away from where I live. And I would only need my friend for the start and end of the project which he already knows. I can do all the watering etc on my own. The reason why I love this piece of property so much which no one owns!! Is because an L shape ditch full of nasty water surrounds the wooded area which makes it impossible to get to

and the whole back side is fenced off really really good. Also would Interstate lights interfere at all with plants if they are out of view of them pretty good? Pretty much the only way to get to it is thru a back spot that is hidden from any roads and you have to go thru a big field just to get to that spot and I have to haul butt down and all the neighbors in view of the field work in the day time I have scoped the area out very good for about a year now. I

figure I would only need to water maybe once a week or twice for emergency of some sort... I will be using p4 water crystals, perlite, and half fox farm ocean floor soil mixed with light warrior on the top in 3 to 5 gallon buckets. I also Plan on using a Hoop house as in this LINK

Also if I use a hoop house Will I have to worry about humidity levels? I live in very South east where the sun shines all the time. I plan on putting a window screen material on the sides to help move air thru and keep bugs out the green house and also will be puttting 2 large battery powered fans in it to move air out to help prevent bud rot. I hope I know what i'm talking about if not some one help!! plz!! this will be my first out door grow. I also plan to use neem oils to prevent any bugs from going haywire on them juicy budzzz. If any one can think of any thing else I may need please let me know. I plan to go organics I may add some bloom juice from fox farm and some molasses every now and then.. Dose any one know if super skunk would grow good in a hoop house? And If I put them in 3 gallon buckets like the low ryders or 5 will they get super tall? Not much info on the nirvana super skunk. I have been reading in here for days and I am going to get supplies soon. So plz if any one can help Ill never forget this in my entire life. The only thing that keeps me going in life is thinking of this and my family.

O and getting any thing to the area is no problem at all. I would just have to load every thing in a car and drop it at our safe 24 hour supply drop area and scoop it up in the woods the next day on the dirtbike and 4 wheeler. I will have a post soon with pics!!

And hope to see others as well... O and also should I let lady bugs and praymantis live in my hoop house? Also if my skunks get to big will it be safe to move them out side and put em under a tarp when it rains..???

Hey guys, I really appreciated the feedback bout the camera tips. I really do.

"Flower setting", rich mr. funny man.

For real guys with the x2 posts that actually had some suggestions, I do truly preesh ur time.

It give me somewhere to start. I literally am clueless regarding shutter speed & all that shiz. So. I'll def give a whirl.

Hey all, first off thanks again for the info. on settings for the cam. Tried a few, but there are many more I need to try out.

Anyway, here are pics o' my chicks. (KB chime on in my man).

Gettin close to chop time I hope.

The biggest ol girl (ak) is actually the one tied down dead in the middle of the canopy. Kinda tough to make her all out, Buts shes gotta be @ least 4" in diameter & @ least 12-14" long.

What chyall' think bout chop date?

What region of country are you in. Like i said, it is every bit of 10-14 days to get to a major east coast hub.

So if you are in land a bit, could be between 2-3 weeks.

At this point, the most Jim can provide you with is a weak ass royal mail tracking #. But here's the deal, they are essentially useless (equiv. of US Postal Service), they are rarely updated, etc.

For one order from attitude (they give you postal tracking when order is placed), but again its worthless.

Extremely ambiguous details like "your package is ready to be shipped overseas".

Then USPS picks it up once it's here, and their tracking is even more of a joke. Ambiguous at best. The last order I had, I looked up like 3 weeks after it had arrived to me in-hand, & it still stated that it is "out for expected delivery".

Rule o' thumb, is that ya really can't start bitchin till it's been a month.

I'm sure Jim sent it out, it's just in the hands of low paid, I don't give an eff workers.

They will get here soon, I am very confident in saying that Jim did his part.

Worst feeling in the world, I feel for ya.

It'll happen soon though!

bongsmilie Good Afternoon! I'm new to the site, but have been growing off and on for 7 years.
Here's a 400w switchable op I just started right at the head of my bed.

Seeds all planted on 3/17/10


What I got there is 3x SS mi5's (autofem), 3x Afghan Kush Ryders (autofem), and 10 LowRyder#2 (AutoRegular).




Here's a couple mi5's


The soil is FoxFarm OF soil, amended with 15% perlite and 15% EWC. For feedings, I will be using a low-dose (small pinch per plant every 3rd watering) of Sunleaves Mexican Bat Shit (10-2-01 *9/10ths of the N is insoluable, so it's pretty gentle*) During weeks 1-3. Also, planning on usinng a bit of high-potassium and trace mineral bearing kelp during this time as well as during flowering. For flowering, I plan to use Jamaican Bat Shit (1-10-0). I have used this on an indoor grow of Isis in 2003 and they loved it!

I'm PHing my water (double brita filtered and aerated in a jug for 10hrs firsthand) at 6.5

Will post more on this as we go. My wife and I smoke from 7-14 gr./day for anxiety so this is a seedrun/headsmoke run. I wanna make a hundred auto seeds or so to litter the hills with in June for an early sept. harvest!

Hey KB, in reguards to whaT I JUS SAID....HOW DO U ADJUST THE PPM??? MINE IS SAYING 1017 WITH ph @ 6.7..this of course is with 1 drop of superthrive, 2.5ml of B-52, 1ml of Bud-Candy, 0.76ml of Voodoo Juice, 0.76g of Tarantula and 0.76g Phirana per gallon .THANKS

Hey brother, to lower your ppm just dilute your res with plain water PH'd at 6.7 (or w/e resident PH is @)

I am new to growing and in the middle of my first grow. I have 3 autofems under 200w cfl, 20/4, no nutes, happyfrog organic soil, and purified water, 6" pots, in a closet, blueberry kush , snowrdyer, and hindu kush. I know its a stupid question but when do i switch to my flowering bulb? I'm not sure what to look for. I have white hairs about 1/2 long? Any tips would be app Thanx

I uesed both dope seeds and attutide and placed the orders at the same time but it took a week looker for dope seeds. There both great.
