yea you can just about make any autoflower strain you want but you have to keep crossing them over and over till you get the right traits you want but that takes time and is a big proccess to have them stable with consistant results also does any one know of a good way to germ seeds i tried the in water method for 24 hours but im nervous that i didnt do it right its been two days since i did it and they seeds havent spouted maybe its cuz im anxious to start growing lol
I have only used one method to germinate since Ive been growing and only 4 beans total (out of dozens) never cracked. I am willing to bet those 4 beans were just bad.
-Take 3 paper towels layered together, fold in half once, twice, then three times.
-Get the tap water nice & warm, but not hot.
-run the folded up paper towels under the water & get them completely soaked.
-Hold the folded paper towels over the sink & let the water drain off for 10 seconds.
-Lay your folded paper towels on a small plate and unfold them once.
-Place all your seeds on one side of the paper towels, leave the other side empty.
-Fold the paper towel back over the seeds and press down lightly with your hand.
-Put another plate of the EXACT same size upside down on the first, making a flying saucer looking contraption.
-Place the plates on top of your fridge toward the back, on a cable box, a modem, a DVD player (that's always on), or anything that STAYS warm.
-Check once a day, in 4-5 days MAX (usually 1-2) they will crack.
This method has worked VERY well for me. Heres a before and after shot of my last germinated batch. 5 hadnt cracked yet, but 4 of them eventually did the next day.

Usually by 3 days they will at least be starting to crack open. I have planted them from right as they crack to as late as when they are already forming the petals. Both ways I have had great success. I have never used the glass of water method and I never soak my beans EVER. Why screw up a good thing right?
