my auto purple's taproot shot out into the hot part of my soil.. flushed it once.. still too hot.. second flush i decided to plant a few oat tree seedlings to try and suck up some N
I'm running auto's and photo's this year and all seem to be fine except the Fast and Vast auto's. I lost one yesterday and one was withering away when I woke up this morning. The photo's are all doing fine and haven't lost one. My NL auto's are fine.. its just the Fast and Vast. I thought maybe it was hot soil but if that were the case I'd see damage on the others as well because all of the soil used was from the same batch. I'm stumped.
Hope you solved your problem.
i think it has to do with how much ruderalis was left in the cross
it seems like the more a auto has been crossed the more nute tolerant they become
just figured id add Boston i thought you already knew the blues and purps were nute sensitive from the go
well it will be nice and compact you still using the led's ?
he means hot as in too richIt wouldn't be a bad idea to use some sort of natural mulch to absorb water and control soil temperature to some degree. The mulch will hold the water and release slowly into the soil while keeping the soil cool.
Ahh thank you. Sorry for the mis-understanding.he means hot as in too rich
ya i was looking at those on ebay only thing was venting it and wasnt sure on the risk for shockya i'm still running LED's... been thinking about switching to induction.. you can get kits to retrofit @ a good price and just build your own light
i pulled this shit out.. she's gunna do what she's guna do.View attachment 3148738 View attachment 3148739 . just contemplating topping her.View attachment 3148740 .i planted another auto purple in the same soil a few wks later that stayed in the sweet spot and is doing fine..View attachment 3148730 View attachment 3148736
ya and the organic compost that is still chunky actually absorbs N so its not always a good thing but it looks amazingYeah I love mulch! usually if it is pretty looking it isn't going to be the best for your plants. At least thats what I un-covered.
