auto hazes turning hermie on 20/4 ??? please help

Hey has anyone got experience with auto hazes ? I got an auto ultra lemon haze and its on 20/4

but the seed company recommend a 12/12 of 16/8 light cycle.

does this mean if i keep it on 20/4 that it will budding for too long and go hermie or will it just finish as 'natural' ?

its at about week 6 and according to the seed manufacturer its gonna take another 2- 6 weeks :/

any opinions - particularly from people who have grown haze type autos ? Thanks in advance

p.s. i know there are no male flowers now, im jus conserned about the the long term if i make her flower for longer than natural (i.e. the 12/12 - 16/8 photoperiod recommended) Thanks

thats what i thought and shes been on 20/4 and budding nicely. But it was strange that 'auto seeds' recommend a 12/12 for this particular strain, because surely they would want the customers to get massive yeilds and boast about it right ? none of their other strains have the same recommendation. its jus weird :/

i bit the bullet anyways n changed them onto 16/8 coz im runnin out of time to finish up the harvest oh well, i emailed auto seeds but i doubt they will reply, id b very impressed if they did explain why this strain has these recommendations even tho shes doing fine on 20/4. got some more on the way anyways for next time starting to get reaaaaaal fragrant, the citrus and grapefruit is spot on and things can only get danker!

This is one of the few times I would ignore what the breeder says and just stick with 20/4. All the other autos I've seen say 20/40 or rarely 18/6. Heard sometimes if the sex doesn't show by like week 4-5 you can switch to 12/12 to help it along, but brettsog is right. More light=more buds with autos.

Just thought I'd post my experience grew 60 day wonder mixed wih others at 12/12 it totally fucked went all stretched and buds grew Verry fluffy no densaty and trichomes never went amber and it never took 60 days more like 90. Might try it again outside because with these auto flowers it's all about the light this summer should be good

lol thats for the advice. i think your right but im gonna leave mine on 16/8 becasue ive noticed my room smells alot less now which helps as i have no extraction and have a shared house with like 4 other people who dont smoke or have anything to do with any kinds of drugs haha. the ona gel has worked pretty good, id be helpless without it really, but its still not ideal. on my next grow, i wont pop my beans till i completely mod my grow room up. ill post a pic on here. will prob be july/august. gonna do early misty and some more ultra lemon haze (dont ask me why i ordered more lol it seems i got lucky on my auto flowering phenos) and i also got a free afghan kush ryder when i ordered them off herbies auto site so might do one of each plant....i really wanna get some regular lowryder and cross my early misty.....we'll see.
