Auto Grow Start

i was thinking, maybe you need more light. u said u got a 200w cfl right? and your doing 4 plants. so maybe this could be the problem

i agree, although i don't see that causing problems besides stretching or weak branches. Though leaves that are consistently shaded will be significantly weaker. They kind of droop into a claw. But a 200W CFL isn't enough. Is it just 1 bulb? My 150W HPS can only grow 1 plant at a time and i know i get more light coverage than CFL
 
have to join the consensus above, you'll need to at least pick up some more cfls. They don't have to be high end horticultural either. When I first started I was using global consumer products (made in China) 105w cfls. They were about 20 bucks a pop and came in 2700k and 5500k temps. If you were to add at least two of those for $40USD your plants would love you for it. That's also the highest wattage (at least in the US) that will fit in a standard edison socket. Good luck man, hope the blackjack makes a comeback

it is. i had a 105W cfl, it was the highest they had without going into mogul sockets.
 
Well she is back on her feet, mixed in some sand and water and nutes into her she is a happy little girl and is making a rapid recovery, the other guys are fine.....except one that is having trouble growing leaves at the main cola, its trying to grow them too close or sumn and they are just getting tangled into a ball lmao god dammit!! Got a festival next week just pondering on my smuggling techniques lol
 
Thanks man, I'm just puffing on some northern lights mnnn lol I am worried about one plant in perticuluar and its because the fanleaves it is "trying" to grow are like 1 mm wide and never fold down they just stayed pointing up for a week so I cut em only to find some twisted not of fucking leafs lol
 
mmmm some northern lights would be nice right about now. Im just smoking regs (good regs though not much seeds) looking at grace lol (3 more weeks brotha!) so can u post some pics of that twisted plant? im curious to see whats going on there
 
those ladys are looking great man, nice and healthy! that middle ones nuts i got no clue whats going on there lol, but she still looks healthy anyway
 
Yeah they are, the blackjack I think I was actually just underwatering it seems to want water more often then the others

Not touched but it was like an inch away from the CFL its energy saving one, I cant feel much heat coming off it even when Im practically touching it but maybe it just got too close because it is the biggest =/:leaf:
 
it might've been too hot. CFLs can burn. Maybe she got above your fan's effective range? I've already burned 2 of my leaves. When she was younger, her leaves would rise and fall as drastically as the tide. I kept leaving the bulbs too close near the end of the day when the leaves were low. I'd get up in the morning and they'd rise and burn themselves. not so much of an issue now.
 
well sad news I think I may of lost the blackjack, Im pretty sure its heavy underwatering because some leaves were brown and crispy and some hairs on the other buds are brown tipped sooooo, yeah when you go to a festival and leave somebody in charge, that you think can handle a simple task of putting water into a plant pot then your heading down the same road, so praying they will pull through but its 50/50 for all except blackjack who is the solo pic.....yeah, I cried a little, so what! ='( here they are :cry::cry::cry:

man im fucking pissed about that! you cant even trust anyone to give a simple watering to plants. those plants in the pics look like they'll make it, all they need is some good h2o.
 
well they look like they are pulling through, Gave them some water and some nutes, this is probably gonna effect my yield just keeping a sharp eye for any male flowers coz a week without waters alota stress but they have perked up a fair bit, one side branch is snapped right angled but as its not an open wound im sure it will fix itself or not I dont really care anymore just want a quater at this rate lmao
 
Shit that sucks dude. I've been gone for a week, my plant went 6 days without water. But she's ready to be chopped anyway so I don't think it will affect the yield any. My friend watered her for me, he has a plant too, a seed that i gave him. So i think he can handle it. I hope yours pulls through buddy
