im gonna end up tying them down this week there getting too tall for my liking
I installed an extra fan in there today for better air movement, cant wait for this one :joint:

Next in line for flower is my Super Lemon Haze (Purple Pheno) and Blueberry Gum
Ooh Wee
oooool SLH nice one. and those WW are looking a treat, if you cure them nicely it should be some of the finest smoke, well done on your op.
You say you added an extra fan, im guessing just an oscillating fan, they work well but i had a mate once who's massive cola snapped and fell down to the back of the fan, yep you guessed it no gaurd and green shit everywhere its the funniest photo ive ever seen, I'll try and fish it out and post it up, we both nearly cried!!! ahahaha

i have two inline fans that pull 500CFM and i had to wire up a dimmer switch as i found that i like to have negative pressure in my tent, (i dimm the power on the intake) this keeps my temps relatively good, you can see my tent is nearly sucking inwards because of this. i bought three little fans from bunnings that are 4" i think. two are set up on the canopy height and the 3rd one is for cooling my ballast down. it has a max temp of about 35degreeswith it on... without the fan my ballast is burn hot to touch....those fans cost only $12

What are you running 1000w or 600w? My ballast doesn't get too hot at all, thats wierd.. i run a 400w hps,
My light itself doesnt even get too hot, i have a cooltube for it, if i put my hand on the cooltube it doesnt burn because i have a seperate fan just to cool the light, if the fan was turned off, it would get hot real quick and i wont even be able to touch the cooltube. i'll check out your grow

Will do.. Havent continued with my original journal. No real interest.

So Top fed recirculating system, indoor with in clay balls. CFL for early veg then 600W HPS (might grab a second one) using Canna Nutes.
O yer people tend to not come in till flower. But as Odlaw says its a great reference for mistakes and tricks. Good luck buddy and im counting on you to make me LOVE this plant enough to grow it as my primary grow next (my goal is to have lots of strains but not exactly lots of yield)

just brought me some sweet cream caramel fem seeds from herbies :P

What has your luck been like with Herbies? I have ordered from them before, but they seem slow? Attitude was a week later!!!

hey im in australia andim in need of some ripe ass seeds.... can anyone help? pretttttttttttttttttttttttty pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
hahah if you spam with such a low post count i doubt you would get much at all. Its not instant chat, so sometimes people need time to respond. That said Masterhemp has linked you to a good place to check out.

I have a little inline 150mm fan for my cooltube and i must say its still pretty warm. I have it to blow over the light, but was wondering if there would be a difference if it was to suck instead? What are the specs of your fan? (you run a 400W and i run 600W so maybe the difference) Also how far do you leave the light from your tops?

hmmmm, mine sucks from the side of the space (down low) and then through the duct into the fan which is then ducted to the light which is ducted out the otherside pointing slightly up. Ie. The "cold" air should be sucked up by the fan passed over the light and then passed out the other side as "hot" air. My tube is touchable, but still seems hot considering its being blown away :(

My new place i plan to dedicate a whole room to hydroponics (not just weed) and it will use Big ass fans and of Aircon if needed :P

QUick question guys never grown from clones before how developed should the root be in the bubble cloner before transfering to coco/perlite then a soil mix?

i transplant mine into coco a day or 2 after i start seeing roots by then i ussually got a few roots starting to pop out but i dont use a bubble cloner not sure if that makes a diff i dont see why it would

also why are you going coco/perlite then soil? why not just stick with coco/perlite or straight coco?

I start my clones in 42mm Jiffy pellets, as soon as the first roots poke through the pellet wall I wash off all the peat and stick in perlits/vermiculite.

Anytime after the roots start showing is fine as once they start they don't stop :-)

Just make sure that the medium is kept nice and moist and they will be fine.

Short of the bubble cloner I never could get roots in jiffy pellets or rockwool, also Odlaw these are for the basis of my winter crop they will be put outside in a week or two when they get to ~ a foot where they will be put into my soil mix and the coco/perlite will be used as a buffer.
