Just need to work out what strains hahah ak for sure everyone seems to have it in there fav smokes.

Well im still new to it, but so far im liking sativas. I haved only ever had SLH which i found to be great as it gave me only a SLIGHT couchlock and that was more dose dependant. Other strains like White Rhino (indica) knock you on your ass HARD. Depends what you want to do. I think most growers (only basing it off what Masterhemp and GOD have said in previous posts) like to have a variety of smokes to suit the needs for that day. As dicky as it sounds weed can become a VERY fine artform like grapes for wine etc. I have white rhino, jock horror and SLH growing atm all with different types of highs to suit what i want.

What are fem seeds like?

well your assured a female at least. Without fem you may get males and fuck your whole op up. That said stressing a female to a hermi seems to be a bad trait of mine lol.

Tiny opp and thinking some fem auto flowing seeds to speed it up to get me some shit.

I think masterhemp stated this later but 60 day wonder auto flower seems to be great for a quick smoke. HOWEVER the inability to clone and control plant size and shape (cannot top with Autos as you stunt them) is a little of a turn off for me. My jock horror is auto and it shits me. Tempremental bitch that it is lol.

um what ever you do do not use bunnings nutes or general purpose nutes with coco if you go coco (i use coco and it rocks) still only use basic nutes but make sure they are nutes made for coco or you will run into cal/mag probs as well as other problems

O damn, i only ever used Bunnings shit when i was in soil and perlite. You can always correct said problems with using cal/mag nutes though? Adds a little extra iron to help with Yellowing

I would LOVE to help mate as if your prepared to hit the north shore you MIGHT feel like hitting Sydney's western suburns and i can give you some White rhino? It will be a few weeks before she will be ready to hand over (ill make sure shes nice and healthy first). I cannot pm you due to low post count?

hey god , the book i have infront of me from Ed rosanthel says it pointless to graft weed ...but then again it was written in the 80's and then refurbished in the late 90's so who knows..
im also interested as in why u joined 2 of the same strain together ?i know they were pheones but still , all cannabis is in the Cannabaceae family. i like your hempy method 2.i think im going to transplant some now into some hempys outdoors.

Theres a great video where ppl in amsterdamn graft on 5 plants to a single mother to grow five strains on the same plant. This is because they have a law allowing only 5 plants. Thsi way they get to have 5x5 strains at any one time I see grafting to be a great thing to do if you have the skill for it.

EDIT: My G13 Haze wont wont. Anyone else had problems with Barney Farm seeds? Whats the LONGEST you have waited for seeds to pop? Kinda pissed that $100 worth of seeds seems ot be fucked

dont get me wrong skiz if i was doing a soil rockwool perlite etc.. type grow i would give the bunnings nutes a go but ya really need to use nutes made for coco when growing in coco there pretty much the same price as the norm hydro a+b just designed for coco as coco has different properties and shit the norm a+b can cause a multitude of problems in coco from what i have researched on top of the allready know cal/mag prob that can come with coco

I guess they can give you a better reason but i find that its nice and fluffy so GREAT for roots to poke through, it has a great water holding capacity and it buffers really well. I wanted to use a 50/50 coco/clay mix in my DWC but the coco kept poping out the nets and clogging up my inline filters

well to be honest i cant compare it to anything as its all i have grown in but i start in rockwool and i notice they can get algae on the surface if not protected from light
but i did find it cheaper at the time as i got 2 50ltr bags free with the cyco ab set of nutes
it stays very well oxygenated
its all ready buffered out of the bag well at least the stuff im using is
hard to over water (tested by accident timer went other day got at least 2 hrs of water and it never seemed to affect the plant no wilting nothing lol)
great drainage at the same time holds alot of the soup
organic so afterwards u can just add it to the compost pile making it easy to get rid of
no smell bugs or weeds like soil

p.s.
the reason im not trying another medium this time and im sticking with coco is the fact that with 1 plant in coco under 400w i managed to get the amount i did why would i change lol

I use a 80/20 mix of NF coco peat and perlite, once you figure out your watering schedule + heat and plant size variables its perfect.. I started an aeroponic setup that i came up with and its a massive pain in the arse to even get average results then i had a power failure and it raped em. Bottom line even commercial growers prefer this method its foolproof. I get fantastic results in coco and have no desire to change
Also NutriField coco is exactly the same as Canna, if not better and its way cheaper.

I do a flush every 5th day out of 6, I have a high PPM and coco can harbour sodium

Days 1-4 - Nutrients
Day 5 - Flush eg. PH @ 6.1 (Straight Water)
Day 6 - Half volume feed eg. PH @ 5.9

Barneys Farm are wankers, most of their strains are unstable. Normally i stick to classics but i thought id give pineapple chunk a go, now one of my rooms is a mess- lots of bud but so overgrown.
This is their write up from their site

We crossed the famous “Barney’s” Pineapple with our Cheese/Skunk #1 with the intention of breeding in to this new variety the essence and flavor of these two delicious strains. The result is an extremely vigourous and stable plant. Mould and disease resistant.
Flowering to a beautiful conclusion in just 55 days. The essence and flavour of Pineapple Chunk is immediately obvious. Its aroma of earthy Cheese X Skunk is backed up by a secondary scent of Pineapple. The taste is delicious and unique. Earthy flavours are underpinned by a strong tasty Pineapple aftershock.
Pineapple Chunk is most rewarding. A huge giver with a massive THC output and high CBD gives a powerful couch lock effect.

They also claim this plants growth pattern is almost pure Indica and that its a plant of medium hight
The plants i grew from seed are enormous, stretchy Sativas that are in their 9th week of flowering with more time left. the buds arent bad though dont get me wrong, but i didnt want a big gnarley sativa jungle thats holding up progress.

a hempy bucket would produce similar growths u would think aye? seeing as perlite/vermiculite is just as pourous and holds water well also.i tryed coco once im not a fan , then again i guess i probly didnt get the hang of it.

Yeah i dont see why not, i sorta grew with these systems in my area and theyve always done their job well.. Id be more concerned with issues with the roots in a hempy bucket, had a mate who done a little grow with em and came up with some rippa bud. its a great alternative when your starting out but on a larger scale i couldnt rely on em.

Well it might be an overreaction but i looked up other peoples grows with this strain and others and there was deffinately a lot of negative feedback. Im just pissed as to why they would say its an extremely stable Indica cross with a short bloom cycle when i got a leggy sativa with a long cycle. The only reason i let them go this long is because ive heard its a great smoke. Iv mostly grown with clones and rarely order seeds (4th time) so i guess you only really get one impression

$100AUD for 5 seeds and not a single one poped. To me this makes Barneys a pos seedbank!!!!! I have heard MANY similar stories with Barney's.

I MUCH prefer sativa's too so its not anything like that, but i hear many stories of unstable and non germ plants.

That said if they working well for you then i see no reaosn to change GOD. I think from now on ill just have to sweet talk you into some nice sativa seeds

EDIT: Out of the 5 seeds only two have cracked and they the ones that only JUST went in the other night. Looks like barney's has a pretty shitty success rate

This is a stab at what those "white patches" you mentioned could be:

Powdery mold is superficial and insect damage would probably show up on the underside of the leaf, not just the top. Its not either of those.
Too much calcium as plants "exhibit white/brown patches between the leaf veins" and could also explain the weak branches. back left
A high PH (6.0-8.0) could cause your plant to take up more calcium than usual and can lock out zinc and iron which also causes "inter-venial bleaching".
Using chlorinated (un-aged) water can also cause Chlorosis (inter-venial bleaching).

Thats about all I could come up with, but it doesn't seem to be affecting your girls too much anyway.

Edit: It could be 50 other things too. The more I look into it, the more possibilities arise.

Thanks rusty... My pH level is really good, I've always used pH down, and I test it, I honestly think I stressed them out so much by letting them get soooo big and not letting them have enough light... Still, all my plants are now covered in sugar so I am happy about that... The Laced Rhino is struggling under the weight, but that's not a bad thing...lol.. Only about ten days to go and I'm chopping down three of the four... I'm leaving the SLH for another week...

A woman has been rescued from the Yarra River in Melbourne after she lost her grip on the blow-up doll she was riding.
A 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were floating down the river in the city's north-east about 4.30pm yesterday using the inflatable dolls for buoyancy.
The woman lost her grip on the doll when they hit turbulent water, grabbing hold of a tree while yelling for help.
