thanks lacygirl n adlpotter.

Can I ask another question? Are there any grow bulbs or LED panels which can be screwed into a normal light bulb socket?

Cheers.

on ebay you can get 130watt and 200watt cfls that go straight into standard aussie light fittings. do a search for hydroponic lights and you should find what you are looking for. here is a link to a 130watt globe on ebay.

Well of my plants outside, the small clones that went straight to flower were moved under cover and are fine, however the two big abused bubblegums got beat like Tina, fell over, knocked their support stake out the ground and pulled the airpump off it's waterproof perch and left it and the extension lead sitting in a puddle of mud. I asked my mate to check on them, lazy fucking non-growing cunts smoking up all my homegrown for free and put in no fucking effort and almost fuck the whole fucking thing up!

Anyway, I got to his to check them at around 11:30pm, when I found them in the above state. Straightened them out, hammered their stake back in, and they just looked a little abused. There was also a big gap in the foliage that wasn't there before and I can't figure out why :/

DWC is piss easy dude. Mix your nutes up in a cleaned out softdrink bottle so you can give them a vigorous shake to mix them up with some water, then stick your hose in your tub with a decent water pressure and slowly pour the mixed up water/nute solution. Stop filling slightly short of your fill line, let settle for 30mins then check ph. Mix th appropriate ammount of ph down with some water in the bottle again, shake, then pour into res and blast with a bit more water to mix it all up.

This is the super easy way, the downside being you're not leaving the water to sit and the chlorine to evaporate. I haven't had a problem with chlorine and I've been doing this for a while now. I think it was Al B who said he never bothered ith leaving the water to sit.

To empty, it's easiest if you have a water pump in there to pump out most of the water (usually leaves 1-2cm). I just syphon it out right now as my pump is otherwise occupied. If your res is small enough then you just tip it out :)

The bestest way is to have a second res which has a pump in it. Fill and let sit for up to 24hrs (or forever if you hav an air stone in there which is recommended) then do nutes and ph and then pump into your grow res. This is more work and costs more, which is mainly why I'm not doing it. I haven't noticed a differnce in the plant between techniques.

Edit, I thought you said "I'd do DWC but...", but I see now you may have meant "I've done DWC but..." in which case nevermind haha
