and skunky i went the flop and got seeds from planetskunk ,order has been shiped 7 days ago but still have no seeds ,they also have a nab payment option ,so ya can walk in to a bank and pay in cash with no record

seedsmadness is good if you pay by CC it shows up in your statement as like a gift shop nothing to do with seeds

Hey can anyone tell me if theres a size limit either in length or diameter when takin clones?

I tried to clone the tops of each of my plants bout 2 weeks ago & they dont look that great,i was thinkin maybe they were a little too big?
I also re-topped the resulting 4 branches on 1 of the plants coz i wasnt happy with how it was growin and put them in cups of water with some rooting hormone just to see what would happen.

Anyone know?

from what i have heard mate cuttlings taken from the top of the plant take longer to root as they have less hormones and what not

take your cuttlings from the bottom
and i dnt think it really matters how big they are, as long as there is enough stem to stick your gel or powder on then plant.

i have had my best results with rockwool they take faster. also i have done it in a cup of water took longer but worked and i done it in soil that takes awhile to.

Hey BB howzitgoing......there are loads of threads on this site on cloning that really go there and you would find very informative ....but I will say that when I take cuttings I usually cut the next node or sometimes two down from the tip.... also the top tips tend to be woody,,so I take my cutting from the lower branches...hope this helps

No worries thanks peeps,also spotted the first spidermites of the season,i thought id escaped em so far.

Little fukers plagued me last year,think ill try make up my own spray this time (all organic of course).

heres a few pics of some cuttlings i took

the ones i done in soil are hard to see bad pic quality but if you look close you can see a few nubs and a long root on 1

as i said i think they take best in rockwool

dude if you have no address get a po box. it's probably better, sending to a friends place will end up weird sooner or later, trust me lol

and a week isn't an unusual amount of time to wait on seeds, takes up to a couple of weeks sometimes. anything longer than that and i'd get worried

well. my kids outside died from the hail and, lost 24 to fungus in the propagator last week and my bb are outside not doing the best, they've kinda stalled on growth. don't see why i'd take a photo of any of that?? but i can if yer really jonesing.

i will do a grow journal just for you when my seeds arrive. or would you like to see some photos of the early misty i harvested last month? lol
