Wet, wet and more wet.
It's a strange thing. I did a couple little indoor DWC grows. I have a sump below floor level, that my Res sits in. The sump has a bilge pump as we have water issues under the house. Water, runoff from up the hill travels subterranean and during periods of heavy rain, trickles into my sump. I have an automatic switch which pumps it into the runoff pipes from the roof and it discharges out into the street gutter. I got lazy and started throwing old nutes from my DWC into the sump, instead of carrying them out and into the gardens.
The run off pipe is cracked/broken down towards the road. At first I noticed that the grass in that area was growing so much stronger, and yesterday I noticed that there is a algae buildup which only begins where my outlet meets the gutter. It's a little difficult to see in the pics, but it is a definite telltale something is going on.

You can make out the Algae growth to the left of the outlet.

I built an umbrella for the torrential rain. Easily removed when the suns finally comes out.

Help!!! New clones, roots start turning brown within a day or two after they emerge out of the rockwool. The roots of the clone on the left looked very similar to the roots on the clone on the right only yesterday. But after only one extra day the roots start going brown. Any suggestions on how to stop this or what could be causing it?20220301_180721.jpg

I know SFA, but they (leaves) look burnt to me, even the root tips. Lighten up on the feed perhaps?

Thanks, I've been growing for decades without any root problems, but just in the last year or so getting root problems with young clones which looks like it starts just after they have rooted. It's been driving me nuts!!!

Not too far away from the finish line now.. Had to raise the roof off the greenhouse 500mm maybe a month ago and annoyed I didn't go 700 now as some of the colas are touching the roof again which is crazy as it's 3.6 meters at the highest point..

And here are my indoor girls which are just clones off a couple of the outdoor plants but dwc grows so fast, first Pic is straight out of the aero cloner and then exactly 4 weeks later which I flipped 4 or 5 days ago.. Just the thought of trimming is giving me anxiety although so is the thought off a knock at the door so looking forward too the end. Good luck every one
