It's my first grow and i'm more than a month into flowering and today i noticed some spots on some of my leaves could anybody tell me what this is and possibly what i could do about it?

Looks similar to the problem I had last week,thrips I think,check the back of the leaves,closer look maybe spider mites

Wait can you run two lamps off that one ballast? on a different timer??

Yeah you can run 2 lights off it I'm not sure about different light cycles though

I for one sincerely apologise. The comments were mainly mine. I did go pretty dark there. It wasnt intentionally meant to make you feel uncomfortable. I knew it as i was writing it that it was going too far. I should have checked myself.

probably bit ive never grown in a 2 x 2..so not sure on wattage needed. That ballast Leigh put up is interesting. You recon it can run two lamps on a different cycle?

If you got a 3 pin round earth male and female plug you could maybe put a timer in between from the ballast to the light if the power needed didnt fry the timer, I'm not real sure about electricity I'm just a welder mate

Did you check the back of the leaves

Yeah all i can see are the same spot i saw on the the top of the leaf apart from that i put it under a microscope and it looks like an orange spot among the trichomes

Oh no, straight up plant AIDS, nah sounds like, is it moving? If it’s moving probably a mite, is it outdoor? Indoor?

no it's not moving and it's indoors.

Know one has any thoughts in lights for a 2 x 2?

I ran a 400 hps in a 2x2 but it was in winter with a 150 mm exhaust on a hood and it was only 1.6m tall and i had issues with heat burning and stretch but i didn't train so i think it would be doable in cooler climates and a better grower.
