The rot in buds is slowed down, there's different 'mold'. The mold that destroys nugs is botrytis, diff from powdery mildew. Botrytis wants below 75deg(f).
Powdery mildew is caused by Podosphaera. Even in extreme dry hot settings PM will thrive, where the podosphaera is inhibited.
True, last summer I lost a bit to botrytis (I think that's the one caused from caterpillar shit?) but was very late in the grow. Never had powdery mildew problems

Ended up taking the seed shells of with a knife, one looks abit funny hopefully the leaves end up opening, they look abit burnt from water droplets, sprayed the seeds under my light before bed to try loosen the shell.

I'm a savage. I just pull em off with my fingers. Never had my issues. It's like a 50/50 mix with me...half have shells still when they pop. I find the membrane easy to remove as well, just grab it between two fingers and pull it off.

Everyone acts like these plants will explode at the slightest touch haha.

That's why I grow autos
Same...the photos I tried lndoors all got gifted as I only have 160-180cm tents and the strains I have tried have all took 6-8 weeks to hit maturity even if I flip at 4.

My autos always flower around week 4 which is perfect, and I like to stagger grows as I sell seedlings. I flipped the photos week 4 and they didn't flower until week seven. By then Id either have to cut half the plant off, but I just gave them away.

I keep photos for outdoors ATM, but I haven't had the yard to do it for a year now.

I love watching them pull their leaves out. I have a spinach here that's slowly working its way out of it's husk...

I don't know why but I find it strangely therapeutic
