You older guys so lucky that you lived when things like weed strains had some personality now theres just too much saturation of the market if I kept seeds from nowadays they'd be worth nothing in 30 years time but some 90s northen lights sounds like gold
Yeah was a pity they wouldn't pop but shit happens
If we knew what we know now we would all have 3 or four old Holden sitting in a garage

How old were your seeds and how did you store them, cc
Mate had them just in a baggie when I got them off him so I not 100% sure but at least 6 years he was a grower way back when
And they sprouted just died in the 1st week of sprouting it could of been something I did but I doubt it but he said he thinks he has more but Ill just order some in I think

Don't pick it early bro not when you have small plants you'll smoke too much of your total harvest before its ready a lil bud a week early is no dramas but don't keep picking at it
I took 1 lil nug this hole grow and that was more to try the high and shit but if u fast dry never taste the same or smellls the same and definitely learned a lot of this plant and where I can do better and keep a super pH stick around fuck drop mine in water and it went all fucked up after that and definitely going to run hps for flower and also just how dam long it really takes to finish

@jungle666 did the ww bean pop?
As I've discovered with my lacklustre HSO Blue Dreams, there's a distinct difference between a bean popping & actually getting them to break the surface & go looking for light. I had 4/5 seeds pop, but not one of them stuck their head above the top of the jiffy pellets I used to get them going.

I may have done something wrong, but I've used the same technique for other seeds & had no problems at all until now.

'Kinda pissed off, 'cos I had high hopes for a couple of monsters in my bush plot this OD season. Guess it's gonna be Wonder Woman & IB this year...

New F&D system completed this arvo. I did a mock-up that worked, but wasn't level & wanted something a bit more stable & user-friendly:DSCN2590.JPGDSCN2591.JPG

Mostly IB, but there are a couple of Wonder Woman in the centre & a Green Crack cut from @DustyDuke front-right. Everything except the Green Crack has been topped once.

Only issue is that once I'd built the new frame, I'm only left with about 500mm of vertical development height available for stretch & flower. 'Good job most of these are destined for outside in the ground or large fabric pots.

The difference in size in just 4 days is quite noticeable.

Also discovered this arvo that I've only had the ballast on 75% power for the past month.......:dunce: :wall:

It's the height same issue as me with flood and drain. Looks sweet that frame though. The Green crack bulks up hard and finish's fast, I got more off that then the bulk. I'm super keen to see it outside, that was the best pheno out of the 3 packs of beans of pooped not the buzziest high more skunky and it will cope a bit of abuse.

I found mucking around with them and to much water was my weakness in early days. Probably why I dont use paper towel just soak and into jiffy or eco pods or rockwool, what ever is on my shelf lol

Yeah, I just discovered that vertical height dilemma after I got the whole thing set up. Not a problem for these girls, 'cos they're going outside, but to use this as a full-term thing, I reckon it's going to have to be LST & SCROG city.

The frame cost me under $120 from Bunnings & pretty solid (not as good as the stuff I used to build my brewery that needed to hold a shitload of weight, but good enough for this purpose). I had to cut-down the horizontal 1.2m lengths by 10cm to get it to fit into the tent. Probably could've saved a few shekels on the uprights in hindsight, but meh, it's all good.

Once the Green Crack puts-on a bit more bulk, I'll top/clone it & put the original outside so you can see how it does. It helps having 3.5 acres available to play in.......;)

I also discovered an uninvited (but very welcome!) guest to my tent:

Not quite as exciting as finding a hot, naked woman in your bed, but you can't have everything......
