This is the best ph pen for sure! One button calibration and quick read out. Alos my rain water was ph of 6.5 and tap was 7.4 and ec was .1 for rain water and tap was .6 -.9 and never had a problem with coco. Keep your ph around 5.8 in veg and 6.0 in flower.

Just a ph 7 buffer is needed. Yeah push the button in the solution and it calibrates it for you. My buddy had a cheap one off of e-bay ($40.00 one) and it wasnt as accurate as this one.

Oddly enough almost 2 weeks later the second part of my dope-seeds order has come, yay.

Although I left my clones unnatended for a week and one is looking pretty dead, watered it well and am trying to get it back to life. Ah well my chrystal and g13xhaze are going well.

6.0 for veg and 5.8 for flower, I just went 5.8 right through, the higher the PH the more locked out phosphorus becomes, people run high ph's and low temps to send their strains purple or more purpler.

This girl was quite sick when she got pulled from a mate's room. She died back to all but 1 small branch. An organic soil mix & some TLC n she has bounced back beautifully. She only caught the tail end of the season, otherwise she would have been a monster.

Also i have a Super lemon haze, G13 Haze and Amsterdam bubblegum all under 4x 25watt CFL (all meant to be equiv to 125watt) just to keep them in veg while my current grow is in flower. I will be putting them in the tent as soon as the current grow is done but i was wondering what would be better. Taking clones from them and starting fresh allowing them to get nothing but MH light and therefore not stretch?... or is it ok to just keep topping them and let them bush out that way? Can you top TOO much?

jzs i got the same pen as yours i think its ok but i was planning on buying the exact same one nightmare linked lol just need to get the cash up
had more important things to do first like this

its my new mother/veg cab 1mtr high 700mm square interior just going to use panda plastic as the walls use a puter fan for extraction but have it ducted to my flower cupboard (very short duct) so it eventually gets vented through the carbon filter in my flower cab
it will be right next to my flower cab so im hoping it will work lol and yes no light will get throught to the flower cab lol

on another note if i use hempy pots for my mothers how do u root trim them l8r down the line or do u just use a cutting as a new mother and send em to flower when the roots get to much for the small pot?

I wouldn't bother cutting fresh clones off them. Start them in small pots & when u r ready 4 them 2 be grown properly, simply transplant them, removing the bottom nodes & burying the plant up until the point ur happy with it. Every removed Node will be a possible rooting hotspot + you will have alreasy amassed a nice root ball @ the base to get u on ur way.

Cant rep+ ya for a great job Od's, gotta spread some more love. nice and neat and should finish off quite nicely ;) It's better when you raise the floor of the a small veg cab
rather than having to bend down!

They should be able to handle a good root trimming as long as you prune the shit out of the top at the same time, but it wouldn't hurt to strike a clone or two at the same time just for insurance.

... nearly forgot ... thats is looking like it will be a nice cab when you have finished it, what lights are going in there?

i actually raised it for that reason im a lazy fucker lol and also my res for the flower cab will be under it and i may put a shelf under there if room to store all the nutes but havent checked if its high enough for that yet just wanna get it in so i can get some variety happening lol
