I just cook whatever in them. Ive even done steamed self saucing puddings in them. Double thick cream and its a hit on a cool night
Roast meat always come up good, Bolognese sauces, apple pies are easy if u cheat. Great for fishing. throw a joint and some veges in, load it up and come back 5 hrs later and have a buet lunch.
Beats snag sangers for two or more days..

I caught up with my mate yesterday. My error, it’s not CMH & HPS it’s DE MH & HPS he’s using with the one digital ballast.
1000W DE MH 6K for veg
1000W DE HPS 2K for flower
1000W DE MH 10K last couple of weeks
His grow was looking extremely nice. Said it was approx $1,100 for each light set up inc the 3 lamps. He’s just gone back to HID from LED after putting in a big solar system.
@reza92 is there a true benefit with the 10K for finish?

10k is essentially a 6k bulb with more uv I’m pretty sure. I’ve only ever run one in a cfl and I wasn’t impressed compared to the 3500k bulb I was flowering with at the time, especially considering the price difference.

Yes, he described it as a UV stress lamp. He hasn’t used it yet.

Oh its only the one plant and i wont bother because shes a quick enough flowerer that it isnt goin to be an issue. And i generally find anything that doesnt make the net will usually not need the top net coz theyll generally be stocky enough to support themselves. This strawberry akeil is an exception tho shes really short n stout but also got thin branches with chunky buds so shes gonna topple over a bit but like i said shell be done soon so not a worry. But as for if i want to try raise her up.. i cant not in this setup once stretch is done it is what it is.
