I'm starting to wonder if this corona virus/flue thing couldnt just be a bit of government bullshit, a con job, to take the attention away from the fact theres was always going to have to been a market right down, in the stock market and job losses, at Qantas, and other big companies,, remember before when ruddy gave out the stimulus package, they sacked heaps at Qantas

isnt it handy how they can blame all of it on a chinese flue,

its all good Scomo will just promise his kids another trip to hawaii next bush fire season we'll be right, you just rest up mate

People put more spotlight on a budget being in the black/red than a healthy economy and the countries economic rating or its credit rating, all of which have got worse while the liberal government have been trying to fix labour’s “problems” and get the budget back in black. The bushfires and corona have just been the quick 1, 2 punch the economy couldn’t afford, the liberal government will reap what they’ve sown and it’ll be interesting to see how they handle it.

My very late 70s dad wont be tested for Corona. Dispite showing all the symptons and being in not the greatest health and most likley have been in contact with people from overseas. Just told to self isolate for 14 days.
Judging from that and from other simmiler cases ive been hearing they dont seem to be testing many people at all. (he is in the ACT). In Tassie we have only tested about 600 people.

They simply don't have the test kits they need. There is more on the way. Basically they are questioning people and assessing whether or not they really need to use one of the limited test kits.

There is also cold going around at the moment which has a lot of people going in panicking to get tested.

The main things to watch out for with covid is the fever and the shortness of breath.

Hospitals etc are measuring all employees temperature before they start work. That seems to be a pretty good indication. No fever no covid
