skiz i got my 20L bucket from bunnings, although the lid that came with it doesn't even close properly, so i ended up using a spare bucket lid that i had laying around



Im looking to buy one of these sports coolers to replace my bucket to keep the water temps down this summer

grrr i don't get it!!! You, Ninja, rusty, etc all seem to have these black buckets from bunnings yet i go in there and they only have shit :( ....i must be using a dodgy bunnings lol.

The cooler idea seems good, although if its a r/DWC you would only need to use the cooler for the res right?


SIDE NOTE: I got my hydro gear deleiver this morning :D .....shame i ordered the wrong size net pots though lol. The things are smaller than a 250ml cup :(

Seriously, do they think that banning bongs is going to reduce smoking - there will just be more ruined garden hoses.

With ash catchers, multiple percolators and ice nipples - bongs are a healthy way to take the drug ... ban bongs and smoking related health issues will increase, fucking dickwad do-gooders.

In anticipation of (eventually) smoking my Red Dragon, I've invested in a Magic Flight vaporiser - definitely a cute compact little toy.

BEST FUCKING INVESTMENT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a digivapour for <$100 and it REALLY is great. I got it last week and my girl can FINALLY smoke without coughing up a lung now lol. Must say i don't mind it myself :P




@Masterhemp: Bunnings didnt have shit.....but my local little hardware did :P 20L buckets ($20) and two cans of black spray ($4)

@Ninja (should he be back anytime soon): i was at SG today to grab some net pots.....fuck they are a rip off!!!!! 1L silica (thier own shit) for $50!!!!!..Discount hydro on the other hand went from $350 down to $300 because of thier discount if you deal with them directly :)

@anyone who wants to shed light: I have my root stimulator, veg and bloom, potash and Pk13/14....anything else i should get? Is Hydrogen peroxide a MUST?

i think its a must , unlesss u have a really clean grow room and your temps are fine.they higher the temps in the res the more likely you will get rot.

i wouldnt say its a must but i personally use it
the only thing is once u start using it use it the whole way as not only does it kill bad shit it also kills the good shit that naturally kills the bad shit :P
and it lasts for ages i got h2o2 (50% hydrogen peroxide) cost me 40bucks for a 1 litre bottle but i only use about 12 ml a week on ave

I used hygrozyme, it's very pricey but it doesn't kill the good microbes and works wonders, you use about half the dosage.

Peroxide is cheaper and very effective I'd get a few grows under my belt before I started getting tricky.

Anyways I got 38 short rider seeds so I am going to grow them out, pick the best autoflowering ones and then try and cross them with skunk to up the yield or maybe northern lights. Most of the seeds you buy that are autoflowers don't appear to be stabilised and tyhe best ones AK48 Iranian short, seem to need a few generations of selective breeding to get the best results.

My thoughts are as I am solely going for yield not quality smoke I may as well make my own strain.

What is the method by which you catalogue your crosses, If all goes well I'll likely ship some to godlike (assuming all goes well on his end) and I want the strain to be as legoit as possible.

i use h202 after being recommended it in dwc and seeing this is my first grow no root rot what you do need tho skiz is a decent airstone and airpump not enough air is the biggest cause of root rot i just scored these aqua one flat airstones cost between 10-15 bucks but definitely worth it as for natural goodies nuke the bastards until you get the setup down pat then experiment :)

Wouldn't it be great to live in a society where you can have a beautiful bong permanently on display with a selection of buds ready to burn ... not going to happen in my lifetime.

hi guys can someone help me l want to no if l had some plants in the ground now outside and they about 45 cm should l top them or just let them go also wen do u think they will start to flower wat month ???? never grown outside b4 its all new to me

on a note on the colour of pots the only pots i could score were white so i covered them in insulation tape i actually think it helps with res temps as the foil actually reflects the light unlike black pots which absorb it so if you cant find black ones its not the end of the world.... north korea will take care of that :P

i was thinking we need to invite all politicians lawyers and cops to a blaze up get them all stoned (most probably for the first time) and i bet the issue of legality (or illegality rather) gets dropped straight away ones these pollies realise how "safe" hooch really is the better we all are now im all for RBT and Random Drug Tests for drivers but there is nothing wrong with having a few pipes or bongs in your own place even the occasional hash cookie hopefully they can realize this sooner rather than later....
