Light is turned up to max then dialed back just a touch. There is a bit of yellowing think its mainly new growth maybe a touch of bleaching.
Been defoliating this run few leaves everyday just to make sure lights penertrating.
Temps maybe a bit low but dont wanna turn air con off. Will get to hot as theres a bout 2200 watts
Running over 3 tents.

I love this site. Been asking bout Leaf temps lately and didnt even think to check medtech. https://medteknutrients.com.au/leaf-surface-temperature-lst-in-hydroponic-growing/
Medtek has great info, no bro science ;)

Here’s also a good one for VPD that’s got a link to get their custom VPD chart. Adjust to Celsius. Once you know LST under ambient you just put in the offset, tab down for growth stage and you’ll have a great reference chart.

Yes mate, see how the upper leaves have that “praying” stature, that’s an early sign of light stress. Fix it early enough and you can avoid the dramas and associated issues.

In had a little eBay shop and found all this.
Its not exactly top.of the line but i feel like it would be a great place to start and saved about $300 over the lots he was looking at is a lot more practical.

The kit he was looking at had 2 x 1000w lights with a tiny little 150mm in line fan amongst other things i didn't like.

Seems like there is some real traps out there for beginners

Lifted light 60mm see that helps.
Found it! this is your one m8, got the PAR readings in it too. Keep that light at 60cm above your canopy in the centre and you’re at or just under 1000PPFD. You don’t want it any closer than that

When i was in the 4x4 tent 600mm was to faraway buds where tiny.
Might be different in the smaller tent.
Im not a technical type person just do what works.
But yeah i might bump it upto 500mm

As you please m8, but you seriously don’t want to be over 1000PPFD., and that’s at 600mm at full power.
Please cross check that with @reza92 so you feel confident with a consensus.

Don’t think 1000PPFD would have been the reason your buds were small. Did you get a nute lockout during that grow?

As i said ill play it by ear work it out for myself.
U can read an watch but at end of the day experience is what makes a grower also 18 to 24 inches is reccomended so im within range.

Its always good to have an understanding on how everything works together or doesnt ive done hours an hours of readin on all sorts of crap but havent looked into calcium much same as most of the other micros i just try keep a good balance of evrything. Seems to be workin so far..
So if i go with 1 - 2 grams a ltr i should be right
yeah there’s a lot of good info starting to get out there. If your interested have a look at a dude on insta called slownickel. He does big ag stuff mostly but consults for a few grow ops, has a ton of info that he’s always sharing.

he’s also a big calcium fan. Doesnt think of it as a macro but a major nutrients along with npk because they of how vital it is to cell growth.

personally i aim for the top 2 or so inches of the very top buds to get a little yellow so I know it’s penetrating into the canopy.
