I did try to give them a go before, had 2 acid dough seeds but unfortunately neither of them sprouted. Even contemplated buying some more of their stuff the other day but as soon as I try something and it doesn't work out they automatically get bumped down on the 'to try list' for someone new, so might be quite a while before I actually grow some of their gear. Unless I see some good grow journals of their stuff, but for a company that's won awards and that's been around for a while it sure is hard to find people who have grown their stuff

I’ve seen a few Zombie Kush grows it looks decent but there’s plenty of other Kush strains I’d grow before it. The European breeding scene is pretty shit in my opinion,a lot of the companies buy of the same wholesale sellers based out of Spain. Cannabis Cups in Europe or the U.S can be very misleading,they don’t tell you how many seeds they go through to find the cup winning pheno.

No doubt, I find it funny watching some cannabis cup stuff and seeing them try a bunch of different strains and then somehow they come out with a winner when they've just smoked 50+ strains in a couple of hours yet somehow they're able to accurately say which is the best

You can find 'indicas' that get you running around the house and 'sativas' that make you pass out

But to go back to the question there's tonnes of different effects you can get out of an indica, my favorite so far was from delhi friend x blueberry. Had the craziest body high felt like gravity was increased 100x but it wasn't like slow you down retarded kind of high it was really clear headed and focused. If you sat down you could stay there forever but if you wanted to move it was easy to move and it gives you this really kind of electric feeling euphoria, my ideal kind of indica, really perfect for getting things done and being functional but having full mind and body effects. Can't wait to see how the cross with the brazilian landrace turns out.

I'm going to be getting ace's china yunnan indica (or one of its crosses) for my next seed run, apparently its effects are more 'sativa' oriented, very head high at first, visual and euphoric but eases into warm relaxation and calmness. Which isn't what you would expect from an 80% indica plant
They are classified now as Narrow Leaf Drug Type or Wide Leaf Drug Type but 90% of the strains we have are that hybridised that you couldn’t call them either. One of the things that made the white line Widow,Rhino,Shark was the Brazilian that was used so that one of yours could be interesting,the Yunnan sounds like it too,some say Yunnan could be a crossroads of sorts between indica (wide leaf) and Sativa (narrow)

Definitely. The Next Gen Canna is Cup was just run by @heavydayze here in Australia and they had a rule that each judge could only sample one entry a day which seems like the best way to do it

You're going to want more room than just your tent if you want to pheno hunt haha with an f1 cross you're looking at 20+ phenos and then going to f2 that amount only gets higher unfortunately but then f3 onwards gets pretty refined

Ace does have some pretty well bred stuff as well though if you want mostly landrace but not just a pain in the ass landrace. They have a bangi haze line up to like f29 or something stupid. You can even contact them to get specific generations or lines of their strains which is mad

Ace have a really good reputation amongst landrace (a widely misused term, anything strain that has been touched by a human hand isn’t a real landrace) fans. They seem like they are really professional in the way they find there breeding stock and the lines they release. F29 ! that’s some dedication right there

True that, I know they have some offerings that are only one generation removed so they do have some pretty close to landrace as you can get while also making sure the seeds you're selling aren't total trash stuff. They also work in partnership with bodhi and his landrace seed project nierika and sell some of his stuff as well which is supposed to be just seeds straight from the plant from the wild but of course like anything bodhi is related to that stuff sells out instantly so didn't get to check any out

Bodhi's even used the bangi haze in some of his shit so you know ace has some legit stuff considering the absolute fire bodhi puts out. I really like the contrast of both of them. Bodhi is like the icon of modern cannabis breeders and Ace is all about the old school. Both absolutely unreal
