haha yes you can. my sister is slightly religious and has a weird idea that she is a bit of a combo philosopher/historian. I can make her lose her shit by shredding her arguments with a choice quote from Nietzche.
Nihilism (in practice) only seems to work out positively for extremely powerful people. Us chattering classes can't be so free and easy with how we view things lest someone thinks you are an overly negative and/or selfish cunt who doesnt care enough about anything to do anything of worth. I get around that by having a meaty level of cynicism as that seems a bit more socially acceptable.

You are right it seems like all philosophies are tailored towards the bourgeois I see nihilism as more of a state of mind,all the people that tell you that you can be whatever you want to be are just fooling themselves in my opinion,in reality life can be cruel and unforgiving and the sooner you realise it the better you can deal with it.
