I'm not exactly sure of the reasons maybe gravitational effects ? But I do know I get better germ rates and seedling growth when I plant seeds and strike rate on clones when I do them on the best times acccording to this poster,my old mans been buying them for years and years he's got some from the 80's with days marked out and little notes scribbled on them they're pretty cool

so 10 strips at 23w = 230w. That seems to be OK for vegging but it may not be enough for flower in a 4 x4? Have you flowered with them yet and in what size space? I'm thinking maybe 25 strips for flowering in a 4x4??
The prices on these are real attractive.
That would be the kind of amount I'd suggest for 4x4 but maybe not all overhead. Being able to spread them over a big panel really changes the coverage you get. Mines almost too bright in the middle for 3x3 (panel is 600mm x 600mm) and that's only 230 watt. If you buy these and you want CAD drawings of them to design a light layout I made some of the strips and drivers so just ask. Theres some good build ideas in the EB bridgelux strip build thread in the led section for this kind of build too.

Could do that, I only used them in flower in veg I let them dry out a bit more to make the roots chase the moisture a little. You never water coco with straight water it fucks up the ph.
This is similar to my outdoor in the way I water away from the roots now and then while in veg so they chase the water source...since I've been doing that I get bigger trunks and rootballs
Kinda training the roots to spread wider then in flower its just straight out drenching

The one on right was put in same time as one on left but suffered a lock out...kinda staggered its flowering time to 15 days later than the first one but may not be a bad thing as its twice the size and noe flowering hard....
Wat do u guys think for only a T5 light soil grown hand watered effort...only 2 bloom feeds thats it.
Im a bit chuffed and I'm not easily impressed when it comes to my own growing as im a fussy cunt

You must be a good worker if he was willing to give you a raise upon your return. I'd not be so lucky. As my old boss didn't like me. Not for lack of work ethic. But because I'm a "weird c#nt".
Hahaha did he call you a weird cunt?. To be honest man I think I'm a dog fucker and a dodgy cunt at work but they seem to think I'm a gun.. Probably because I skip red tape and just get shit done so I have more time to stand around and have a yarn haha
