So if the Dr prescribes it where do they get it from? Its still illegal to sell and grow isnt it?
Yeah man, that's what i know anyway. As for where the products come from, who fuckin knows hey! Yep, still illegal, except for medical purposes in NSW. The legislation was passed some months ago to legalise medicinal cannabis.

Its legal to grow it in tassie..if your a big pharmaceutical (The poppy companies look like being the only ones to get a licence..)..still illegal to prescribe..lol

Well technically it's not, pharma companies seek an exemption which allows them to grow it. It is still illegal to grow it and prescribe in Tassie.

lol..thats what i said..lol..we also grow the non THC version (have done for awhile) for paper etc.

The first pharma licence for THC grow was announced about a month ago.

I wonder where the bud will be purchased from once you have a prescription from your gp?

Pharmacy?

Is it going to be supplied as bud it only as cannabis products?

There must be some one from nsw that has gotten a prescription and some product in the last few days since its been legalised.......

Getting ready for my next run.

as for medicinal in NSW as far as i know so far its all government grown and its all for research at this stage. there is no legally available medicinal cannabis.

i think doctors can prescribe cannabis for terminal illness only and its up to the patient to source it illegally.
