Look out fellas, I had a thought...

single mixed diode chip (@ ~ 20watts per) each suspended in a curved parabolic reflector. Chip aimed at the reflector. Cylindrical heat sink to minimize blockage. I have seen the basic concept employed on another thread (IC I believe). He is using something like a 10w could be 100w chip set/diode, probably single nm, but it is aimed directly at the plants

Dumb or... ? If this can work it SHOULD save on heat sinks, let alone simplify build

I guess ,there's couple of weeks more to go ...

The quantity also seems promising yet i dont know if you can beat Ganja's Hydroponic 1.5g/w...

Well ,actually Ganja got 1.6 gpw ,to be precise...

( Second to Mr. X ,if I'm not mistaken ...Up till now I'm not aware of anyone else ...
Mr X has got 2.17 gpw ,and couple of growers achieved 1.3 with leds ...So ,Ganja is " second " ...
-He claims,that this is temporary though......." Second ? Not for long "....-...)


Now...With my ' Tirana Haze ' & 'Alban Kush ' ... unknown strains ....
Growing them in black peat / perlite mix ...
With 60 CW & 12 NW (72 total ) leds, out of 192 ....

No way ,I'm getting even close to 1.6 ....My guess is close to .8 - .9 ....(half ... )

And yes ....potency at " 8th week of flowering "- today tested one spliff again ,just to make sure .. -is way ...Highhhhhhh....
And probably I'm gonna get plenty of honey-oil from the trimmings ,this time ....

Nope !

No ...
It is a very dangerous method involving heating naphtha ( " Pure gasoline " from Smarkets ,for dry cleaning purposes.... )
It needs explosive-proof electrical equip....
Not something to be done at home from unexpierenced people,using the wrong equip....
Very-very-very dangerous....

How come you dont use BHO(Butane Honey Oil) extraction method ?

Very vigorous growth under leds...I'll have at least 13 colas...

I might use it ,this time ...

Yeah....
The Sat-Dom has a very dominant bubble gum smell (the pink "big-babol"..Exact the same !!! ) ...
Dunno..Stilll she produces new pistils ...

The Ind-Dom smells like ....fuel ....petrol or smthing like that ....Weird smell...Almost repulsive ...
Heavy ...kinda you feel that makes you dizzy just smelling the flowers ...
But the yield up till now of this one is not so good ....Small buds ..And few...
Way resinous ,though...

It reminds me of mountain grown indicas at Nepal / North India ...
Way too much blue light or violet ...
And also not enough nutes ...

Way strong odour ... both of them ....

Its my first post hire
I build Led panel from
30 x Cree LED XP-E red ,
5 x Cree LED XP-E High Power Royal Blue,
15 x Cree LED XP-G R5 bin White,
2 x Cree LED XM-L T6 High Power LED White,
10 x Osram GD deep(hyper red)
No lenses
Drivers 680mA 12V DC
Growing space 0.35m2
Got a bubller setup 4 plants 2x M.Dick autos from Dinafem 2x Ak47 autos from G13
Because I was waiting ages for a led delivery from Ledrise Hong Kong I start my grow with 250HPS light till 3rd week of flowering when Led Panel was ready to go,
Distance from the plants was 15-20cm,plants response was strange,massive resin production on the top colas but buds stops swollen preflowers turn from white to red v.quick and laves got a bleaching spots small coin size.
Can anyone advise what I should change or what was wrong?

Try moving the panel back 5-10cm. Sounds like stress from the intense light. Perhaps you could even LST the plants a bit to get a more even canopy (if you haven't done this already).

Thanks for advice week ago I swapped back to HPS light can`t go more up,grow space is in wardrobe,with HPS got some heat problems(30-34*C no CO2) but looks like plants respond better than with LED buds start growing again.

Just curious for the next grow in Feb my led configuration is OK or I should change some LED?
