Astir Grow Led Panel Project...

.....
Once more :
-No expensive 660 nm reds ...
-No expensive white leds...
-Only ordinary WW - NW - CW & Red 620-640 nm
...
Pretty good by now .......
Hi StarDustSailor, The ladies are gorgeous!! Congratulations good man!
Are you using Neutral Whites too? What do you think about growing only with WW/CW, do I need some reds and NW for it?

Thanks for all the info you showed along this thread, but still these red leds are confusing to me =D

Hey Eldischavado...welcome to the forum.....an answer....no you do not need reds or neutral white for growing.....yes you can grow with only warm white and cool white LEDs....

Of course this is only my opinion... :)

I actually was inspired to make my 300w led grow light from this thread. I finished it 2 weeks ago, but I'm troubleshooting it to work in my small tent (working on temperature management right now). I used WW and CW and red 630nm; ratio 3:2:1. Issue right now is that 300 1w leds do actually output enough heat to definitely contribute to ambient temperature. Today I added 2 more carbon scrubber exhausts to my system to lower the temps. Plants are looking healthy now though. Its been 3 hrs and temperature is stabilized to 82f as opposed to yesterdays 94f.

Job Done! Now all you need to do is weigh it then post finishing photos to the website. But then you better be prepared to be filling quite a few orders. I recommend 50% deposit to secure a spot (number), you know, like I'm One :fire:, then everybody else first come first served

I think he was referring to my question.

No more pistils, loads of mature trichomes, but trichs not changing to amber. What spectrum's missing that would cause trichs to change?

Probably....
The THCA destructive ones .....
The ones causing oxidising ,at general...
High energy ones ....
Blues-Violets - Uv's ...
Brownish trichomes means oxidised THCA* ...

( Δ9 THCA C5 A {Tetra Hydro Cannabinolic acid / colorless & transparent }...=>
==>High energy Light ( -4H2O ) ==> CBNA C5 A {Cannabinolic acid / amber -brown & opaque }...=>
==> Decarboxylation or Heat( - CO2 ) ==> CBN C5 { Cannabinol }...

Ha....
Four molecules of plain water, make the whole difference there....
Water makes you high ?
At the right place ,at the right time ?
Water is life ...
Living is high ...

Today finally, 2 White Russians (under 6x24w Astir led panels) were harvested.
We are optimistic about the result. 1 week until we find out.:bigjoint:
Are there any guesses for g/w ratio ?
