is a pattern recognition expert even a thing??? sounds made up to me. lol.
I think it is a lot like calling yourself a 'sanitation engineer' when you clean bathrooms.

It is real, but describes AI better than humans.
Paying someone to look at inkblot tests or experimental science is as much as I have really seen that is not better described as a data analyst.

the rumor i heard was that he only died because he landed on a slight mound and broke his spine in half. if he had indeed landed on a piece of Earth that was indeed flat, he would have survived the crash.
I think the trolls are getting to me, because I found this extremely funny, and I am really trying not to.

AI is really good at doing things like finding “faces of interest” in massive datasets like airport or mass transit video records. Solidly outperforms trained people.

The parachute came loose during liftoff. Pretty sure there was a cover up to keep him from proving the earth was flat. We need more people to step up and eventually one will succeed.

Just like the audits. Need more audits. Eventually one will provide the correct result. Boyoboy, won't Dumbocrats be surprised.

The coolest example I have seen was theoretical work where they would have people sit in front of a computer and have satellite images flashed that they would point/click the spot that they think is human made (basically) very quickly. Also saw one where they did basically the same thing with data trend lines to have people decide which was out of the norm, and compare them.

Then they would compare multiple people's clicks.

It was pretty cool, and the closest I could imagine to that job description.

By an overwhelming 80%+ vote, the Arizona Democratic Party has passed a resolution pledging a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in Kyrsten Sinema
if she fails to vote to reform the filibuster or doesn't support the Build Back Better reconciliation bill.

What is the timeline of consequences for this?

Trump Falsely Claims Arizona Audit Found He Won 'At a Level You Would Not Believe'
Former President Donald Trump falsely claimed during a rally in Georgia on Saturday night that the results of the Arizona election "audit" concluded that President Joe Biden lost in Maricopa County, despite the report clearly stating that Biden won with 1,040,873 votes—99 more votes than shown in the certified ballots.

"We won at the Arizona forensic audit yesterday at a level that you wouldn't believe," Trump told the crowd. "They had headlines that Biden wins in Arizona, when they know it's not true. He didn't win in Arizona. He lost in Arizona based on the forensic audit."

The review of results by Trump's GOP allies affirmed Biden's 2020 presidential election win in Arizona's most populous county. "Truth is truth, numbers are numbers," said Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, the Republican who pushed for the review of more than two million ballots, adding that the "numbers were very close, within a few hundred."

Still, Trump is continuing his campaign of pressuring states to investigate his baseless voter fraud claims. On Friday, he released a statement calling on Arizona to decertify the election results.

"It is not even believable the dishonesty of the Fake News Media on the Arizona Audit results, which shows incomprehensible Fraud at an Election Changing level, many times more votes than is needed," Trump falsely said.

"The Fake News Media refuses to write the facts, thereby being complicit in the Crime of the Century. They are so dishonest, but Patriots know the truth! Arizona must immediately decertify their 2020 Presidential Election Results," he added.

Arizona official resigns after secret recording reveals criticism of fellow Republicans’ lack of ‘guts’ to pursue ‘audit’ of 2020 election
Maricopa County supervisor now says ‘the election was not stolen’ and ‘Biden won’ after claiming six months ago, on tape, that fellow county officials were afraid a re-examination of the vote could show them losing their own races

A Republican official in Arizona resigned Tuesday from the board overseeing Maricopa County after a recording emerged of him criticizing his GOP colleagues for opposing a review of the 2020 election.

During the meeting recorded surreptitiously last March, Supervisor Steve Chucri suggested two fellow Republican county supervisors opposed the review by Senate Republicans because they nearly lost their own 2020 races.

Chucri apologized in a statement announcing his resignation and said he shouldn’t have made the comments, adding “the political landscape has changed for the worst [sic] this year.”

“The environment is wrought with toxicity — and all civility and decorum no longer seem to have a place,” Chucri said. “The fixation with the 2020 election results and aftermath have gotten out of control.”

Maricopa County has become ground zero in the effort by supporters of former President Donald Trump to use false accusations of fraud to cast doubt on the 2020 election results. Chucri’s resignation comes as Trump supporters hired by the state Senate Republicans prepare to release their findings from an unprecedented partisan review of the 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County, the machines that counted them and a variety of other data obtained through a legislative subpoena.

"I resign because the political climate that I helped create has become uncivil".
