Hi.
I have an Area 51 light...I forget the model number, but it's the one with the white spectrum with the switch that can add an additional group of red diodes. It was a very popular model a few years ago and I know that many forum members owned them. It's actually been a very good light for me so far. I know it's not efficient by today's standard, but I am curious if anyone knows what spectrum(s) the white diodes are and what spectrum the red diodes are. I know all the diodes are Cree, but reds don't look exactly the same color as the 660 Osram Oslans. Does anyone know the colors? For some reason, I want to say the reds are 730nm. And the white diodes appear to be higher than 5000K because they look more blue/white/"daylight" than they do "warm" white.
Thanks in advance!
