I landing a new job that pays double what I was earning at my previous employer.
Which allowed me to purchase a new (to me) car.
Even moved into a new apartment with more modern appliances and amazing insulation.
Good insulation may not sound too exciting, but if you live in 110 degree heat, trust me, it’s a game changer.

Oh hell yeah i know what you mean. This is the first summer since the Camp Fire that i’m in my new house I built. Has some serious R-value throughout. You have to because of Title 24 lol. Was in a 5th wheel trailer for way too long. It had 2 AC’s and did not keep up with the brutal NorthState heat.

i’m about 1000X’s better off than 4yrs ago, just because of that.
