That would cost more than my 60% efficient passive build would cost on a large scale build.Or you can go off grid powerand have the best of both worlds 20 grand for 10,000 watts of grid power IMO a better choice then worrying about if that Cob or LED will produce more cause thread after thread its not showing it is

At the End of the day 400W of LED is not going to give you more yields than 400W of HPS, no matter what the manufacturer claims about equivalency. Unfortunately when it comes to growing cannabis, multiple tests by growers demonstrate that LEDs don’t live up to the hype of somehow magically increasing yields with far less power

LOL, now you're just talking shit. a 400w bulb isn't as efficient as 600 or 1000. A 400w COB based lamp would easily kill a 400w bulb grow.
But like I said, you can spend your time looking for pictures on internet forums or you can build a small rig with at least 140 LPW efficiency and find out first hand what it's capable of.

What are you considering large scale grows? I mean if the 2000 dollar led kicks the fuck out of DE lamps then on a low yielding og your going to pull more then 8 units if were trying to take the place of 4 1k lamps. And if there not going to make their decision cuz of grow journal pic then what are they going to make their decision on?

Mongo i look at it this way these religious LED growers tend to think there shit is beyond all and us old fucks that have not converted , to Cob or led do not know what the fuck were talking about ..but the truth is YES LED's have been out for some time now pretty simple math really look at what people are pulling and sure the fuck is not even close to DE fixture you just have to look around thread after thread usally never completed as op fucking disapears in disappointment..

LED can help you with those, but the cheaper ones aren't efficient (more heat) and don't last very long (more expense). The better ones are very expensive.
