Hey Growmau5, I hope you don't mind me sharing your video clips and information I have been following you a lot and am really impressed with your talent. Let me knowMr. Shackleferd,
Firstly, welcome to the LED section of this forum! I know you are an active member on RIU, but I just recently started seeing your posts and questions here. I follow you on youtube and have enjoyed your videos and measurements on the gavita and spectrum king. (assuming you are Rusty Shackleferd on youtube?) I think its great that you are doing your due diligence and research on DIY and COBs before opening your wallet.
Your comment in the OP of this thread has clearly rubbed some people the wrong way. I would like you to link to the video or youtuber that you mention, or it will be hard for me or anyone else here to take anything you say seriously.
Nice Tim....Thanks for sharing!i harvested 1.35 grams per watt in dirt with plain water,, easy breezy,, next go around using a sip, should get even more, and my cob panel paid for itself on the first harvest,,
lets share it everything! spread the good word about leds and cobs my friend, but if you start riding your bike around handing out pamphlets, that might be a little weird.Hey Growmau5, I hope you don't mind me sharing your video clips and information I have been following you a lot and am really impressed with your talent. if it's a problem and I won't post or share your information? Peace!
I think you may have to up your lighting budget if your serious about COBs unless your only using a smallish space. That sounds fantastic and hope it is true. It just scares the hell out of me when im about to drop a precious hard working grand and a few growers complain about yields.
I would be very happy with 1 gram a watt since im only averaging around .40-.70 gpw with my current hid. BTW..Thanks for the vid, this guy knows what he is doing and i have seen this vid and his instructional vids, they are awesome. Would like to see more from the average joe before committing. You would be pretty happy with 2 GPW!
Ha Ha Ha no fear of that!! I just really appreciate your work and sharing. I would subscribe to your channel but my youtube account isn't stealth enough forlets share it everything! spread the good word about leds and cobs my friend, but if you start riding your bike around handing out pamphlets, that might be a little weird.
Yeah I do agree growmau5 is a pro! I am presuming he lives in a place where this activity is permitted.I would be very happy with 1 gram a watt since im only hitting around .40-.70 gpw with my current hid. Getting reliable younglings or seeds is a bit of an issue in the deep south where I live! Those are clone only elites,I also grow some high CBD strains.
I'm a legal card holder in a med state and am lucky enough to have some great connections for genetics.Getting reliable younglings or seeds is a bit of an issue in the deep south where I live!

Hopefully when I pop my GG seeds I can find a pheno similar to GG#4, a guy can dream rightThey sale, GG4 clones at the state legal stores here, like fifteen bucks
If you know who to ask here,GG#4 clones are free ,the creator of it wanted it passed freely. I got mine more than two years ago when it first hit my state, got mine free but at the time people were selling them for $500.They sale, GG4 clones at the state legal stores here, like fifteen bucks
They have a bunch of those Rusty guys out there. I never did make vids of the gavita or spectrum king however I did make some videos comparing leds and some other vids on pc stuff awhile back but took them down from the public domain a long time ago. My employer at the time hired some type of investigator to make sure their employees were on the straight and narrow path or whatever. Thanks answering my cob/driver related questions on youtube.Mr. Shackleferd,
