Aptus Startboost & Bloomboost in FFOF

Both Aptus Startboost & Bloomboost recommend to not let it sit in your reservoir for more than a few days (gets gunky). However, it says nothing about soil and flushing/runoff. Does anyone here use these additives in soil or even coco? Do you have problems?

Seed is Jack 47 Fast. Soil is FFOF/perlite with a perlite layer at the bottom for drainage in smart pots. I plan a small amount of runoff, maybe 10%. Dealing with runoff is a pain for my situation (low profile, need to physically move plants for drainage), so if I don't have to increase it, I'll be happy. Not organic, but will be using Heavy 16 after FFOF runs out.

Thanks
