Apartment Smell

Dont want to use ONA, i tried a similar product and it A. Ran out fast and B. I've read a handful of reports saying it made their bud smell odd (two even said tasted weird to smoke) so i would rather just use a carbon filter which from what ive read works very well, now my real issue is venting/heat.

What you do is take the tape fold it in little less than half, put the sticky side on the door and make it flap over the crack.

I did this to all the doors in the apartment including the entrance. You couldn't smell ANYTHING in the hall with no odor control.

For the hole I got some plastic tube I think it was like 6 inches in diameter then I traced the pipe's outline and cut it out on both sides. Then I sealed it up around the edges with bathroom silicon caulking. Don't use outdoor stuff its toxic to you.

So basically my system went like this, window in bedroom open, closet open, inline fan throwing air into bathroom from grow -> out through bathroom exhaust fan. Just keep the bathroom door closed and tape it up like I told you above.

Might be a good idea even if you own a house and its out in the hall, just have the fan in the hall with a carbon scrubber. Anyone asks just say its where your animals sleep or something like it smells and you can't get rid of it.

Alright new problem apparently they sometimes come into the unit to spray for pests. What can i do? Even if i made a lightproof tent and covered it with blanket it would look a bit odd in the closet :/

I've never seen someone else use this trick (highly doubt i invented it), taping a carbon sheet to the entry of your AC I use this in the room where I smoke, in a grow tent the ac without a real carbon isn't enough to keep odors away (it doesnt smell when used in conjunction with a real carbon filter) but for smoking I think its fine

i used to run a 400 watt with a 4" fan, temps were okay but too hot during may to august(my ambient temp (for the intake)during those time are around 26c / 85F) so no matter how strong my fan is i cant cool that)., atm im using a 600 watt still using the 4" fans but i use the ac


with the ac you actually have a control over your temp like its colder inside my tent then outside it, something that would never happen if you simply had an inline fan (im probably not teaching you anything, but they only move your air it doesnt cool it)

you might have seen this before, but it never get posted enough (its approximation but its pretty accurate)

If i were to cut into my closet with the intent to patch the dry wall could i just vent into the space between walls/floors? I know nothing of carpentry.
