They have a big bar light now and some other things....just glanced at the site briefly. They used to be THE big name in grow lights....I remember when everyone wanted one...They still use a lot of fans on several models and they are HEAVY. Looks like they discontinued the "blurple" spectrum they used to offer...Now they say "fully customizable spectrum"...not sure what that means...They updated the site but it's still hard to find stuff...*shrugs*

I don't know....Opinions?

No prices on the website. I looked around and their 220 watt light is selling for $1000. Crazy expensive. Who pays that?

No one can justify those prices.......Disgraceful
I checked the website. No dimming mentioned on any of their offerings.
No mention of what cree chips are used, 3w?
Yesterday's technology. How easy is it to swap out the lenses? Who puts fans in metal boxes these days?
Better off with a marshydro or cider farmer light for half the price.

But they're designed for NASA and Stanford University chose them 11 years ago to replace the HID lighting in their greenhouse facility. Those credentials make a 220 watt light worth $1000.

Same with Bruce Bugbee. His credentials got everyone believing his contradictions and lack of sharing evidence...
Another sad, more of the same cookie cutter logo slapping from China. Maybe plc helped. Looks like it. White n red with nothing fancy. Sad. No r+d again.

Nice stuff but insane prices on some of them

2300 bucks for a 1410watt light that’s big money for hobby growers but who knows maybe it’s worth but I won’t ever personally find out. Unfortunately

That big fixture has EIGHT fans! My worry would be that all those moving parts are going to wear out and break or not be as efficient after awhile. Can't imagine what it would be like to have to send it in for repairs. Shipping something that heavy would cost a small fortune. That said, I know they are the best of their type....which seems to be outdated, now -with the exception of the new bar light that uses the PLC strips. That one is more practical and also more affordable.

They really need to update the website again and make it easier to find stuff. Maybe they can get NASA's help! -j/k ;)

Sound like you're the one with 0 R&D in any matter...
Apache started the whole white+red in 2008-2010. They literally were the first company doing it. And that SPD was requested by the NASA AMES team in santa clara.

Crawl back in your hole Marc... No ones cares about your lies or need to harp in lights from 2010 and ignore the highest efeincey and cheapest light in town that Apache is currently making.

ATV...800w for less than 700$...

Or whas that missed too in your piss poor R&D"?
Haha, you think you know my name? Funny little Googler got mislead. Ok, but they all only carry wh/r so how's that any different? Same re-logod crap. They're all 50 cents to 2$/w for the same thing. Let it go guy. I don't ignore facts Jack.

Can only lead you to water...its up to you to drink. :wall:

Stop looking at the 2010 lights on there for 2010 price that have been around since 2010 and that is what they paid for them probably for the companents back then. This whole thread started as " hey look at the new ligt from apache" Then you all jump in and can't let go of the not mentioned, not pushed, and no one cares about old AT200 and at600 lines.

They have a 800w linear fixture for $700...that is the ONLY one to look at. And would bet the only one they have stock of and actually sell.
ATV800 for $700. That is it. IF it ain't for you then fine, if it is then jump on it. OTherwise...no one cares about the old ass 2010 lights.
Jesus :wall:

I was thinking he must have purchased one and needs to feel like he got a deal or something or is a rep for them. Who knows but we sure did ruffle his feathers in a hurry over these lights.
"New light is finally up. At that price hard to nitpick at much. Pretty good value imo.
2000µmols output for $799 "

Not everyone might like what I have to say all the time but I try to help the best I can based on what I know. Not read online, or take another's word for. Only what I know. I liked allot of companies that were unique at one point. EX: Chilled was very unique in their original designs and spectrum. Rather then using any of what they actually knew, it's like Vitally just handed it off to younger mktg kids whom took the same route as everyone else on spectrum. Only going by recent (on shit they knew 50yrs ago mostly) studies rather then use what they've learned about spectrum and incorporate it. Not calling them out, just they're a prime example of what they all did. Same thing. That's why they openly say (ilumigro replica spectrum) on the Apache site and those are Telos.
No need to hate me for stating the facts dude. Go smoke a bone buddy.
